Anatolia Ocakbasi in Hackney

Dinner was ok ,disappointed as used to go years ago. Was sold a cider dated best before 6/2021. Staff reluctant to take responsibility.

The food is great, a good local spot

A lovely lunch on a Sunday afternoon. The food was delicious and a very good portion. Plenty of vegetables on the side, we didn't wait long for the food, and the customer service was great! Service charge wasn't included in the bill, so we gave a tip to show appreciation and to thank them for their services. Keep it up! We shall be coming back again with the rest of the family!

This is a great local Turkish takeaway and although there are plenty on Mare Street and East London, this one is our consistent go-to. Great quality meat and always grilled to perfection. Folks there are always nice, restaurant is clean and highly recommend a visit.

Beyond emagine rude behaviour gave burnt kabab took it bk to restaurant the guy say this is first cut kabab u shuld not have ordered it i was shocked. Hope karma meet them sooon for this kinda behaviour

We had a very unpleasant experience , food was awful,( the only thing ,hummus was nice)Falafel was bland and dry with only 1/10 of tomato on the plate(see photo I haven’t touched the tomato,sauce next to it is from my wife’s plate )Veg grill was a joke, 2 green papers/have a onion and 2 very thin slice of courgettes for £10 ….Small portions over priced ….To be honest they have very clean toilets!!!!

Staff were really nice and helpful, restaurant had ample space and seating but food was average.

Friendly staff, great great food. I stand here salivating while I wait for a takeaway that I've had many times and will have many times more.

We had a lovely time...the staff were friendly and very accommodating and the food was excellent! Will definitely be going again.

Old school but Service is not included in the bill so leaving a tip for your server should you choose to eat in is good move. Luckily i was dining with someone who had cash so we were able to leave a tip. I know its not the common thing anymore to always carry cash and we thought a tip would be able to be added through the card machine.Prices are very fair and portions are great.We asked for meals that had no dairy or meat so were given the "vegetarian" option. When the food was brought over chilli and garlic sauce was given which again i had to ask "is there any butter, cheese or milk in it" to which the server said "dont have that one" but it was left on the table.The "vegetarian" option the server showed me was rice, salad and cooked mixed vegetables including potato, sweet peppers and okra cooked in a tomatoey sauce. All was tasty. I have eaten many a falafel wrap from here but never had a sit in meal. Topped up with hummus and Turkish tea we were good to go.
