Anglo Asian Tandoori Restaurant in Hackney

Very good value for money given its location on Church Street. A vast range of curries on offer combined with a friendly waiting staff make this my new go-to locally for Indian food. While I'm yet to take advantage of the Sunday buffet offer (£10.95 all you can eat I believe), the food was definitely good enough to ensure I attend one post-lockdown.

This used to be our local until tonight. The food quality was poor the currys had hardly any meat in the food packed with potatoes and tomatoes. When we sent to pay for 10p the waiter face me a handful of change of ₺9.90. after paying a Bill for ₺102.40Very disappointing

Absolutely awful food and terrible customer service. Ordered three different takeaway dishes but all tasted of overpowering cinnamon. Disgusting and not at all what they should taste like. Sent all three back but they didn’t want to give a refund. Total ripoff. Beware.

Best Indian food ever. Good prices great staff. Good environment. Nothing else to say.

Service is very good, food is great. I especially enjoyed the onion bhajis and order them regularly. If the prices were a bit lower it would be 5 stars. The place is a bit small and stuffy, and at night they have flashing fairy light, so if you have any history of epilepsy you should definitely consult them before entering at night. Overall great place with good food.

AMAZING, I would 100% go back. The food was lovely and tasty, decent portions and a great price. The actual restaurant is decorated beautifully and the facilities were spotless, so clean and tidy. The staff are so friendly and can't do enough for you. Overall, amazing experience and would go as far as to say this is the best Indian in Stoke Newington.

Delicious, uncomplicated food at astonishingly cheap prices (for London) delivered with faultless service from incredibly friendly staff. We were given numerous free drinks, a dessert and chocolates. Looking forward to going back already.

Excellent value for money for individual and group visits whilst also available for event bookings with advance notice ofcourse. The massive array of colourful, tasty and succulent foods offers a wide variety of delicious selections for absolutely any foodie enthusiast. The surroundings are comfortable, soft music playing in the background, nicely decorated, staff are very friendly, professional and swift in serving guests on any other request. The toilet facilities are very clean, modern and beautifully laid out. This restaurant is conveniently located in the middle of local shops, parks, pubs, clubs and other eateries. Easy access is available by car by nearby offroad parking, walking and public transport. My overall rating on this visit will be a delightful full 5 stars and I look forward to visiting again soon.

We enjoyed a really lovely meal at this restaurant on a wet November night which very much went beyond our expectation having popped in on the off chance as our favourite Stokey curry restaurant had shut down! The food was fresh, really nice quality and very well spiced for a delicious selection of dishes which were supported by a fabulous range of breads.The staff were very courteous and kind and the restaurant had a niceatmosphere. The setting was nicely styled and the final bill was exceptionally good value for the quality and quantity of food that we had. And that included complementary fresh fruit and brandy or Baileys for dessert.! The place was very quiet for a Saturday night, and may not have the trendy vibe of it's competitor over the road,; it is a bit old school, but we happened upon this place by pure chance and were very happy to have eaten there. A really delicious and pleasant evening - I'd recommend it highly. Not trendy, but great value and service and most of all, very, very tasty. Seek them out - you won't be disappointed and you'll have money left in your pocket for a round in the 3 Crowns once you've finished dinner.
