A hidden gem in the heart of one of London's coolest areas. Brunch with a backdrop of the gorgeous Regent's Canal in a super cosy, well-decorated nook. The food was absolutely mind-blowing, thanks to the influence of authentic chefs. Each condiment and part of the dish was perfectly cooked. Definitely took me right back to my days in Latin America! If you like Venezuelan (or really any) food, you will love this place.

Menu is varied, however seems slightly expensive for the portion sizes and quality. One starter tasted fresh and interesting, but another seemed like classic chain restaurant / quick food without any depth of flavour. Service is a bit slow and it took a while to get attention of waiters for drinks and water. The pork and beef ingredients slightly dry, but the chicken was good, so unfortunately not enough consistency. 4 person visited at 8pm, half the group e joyed but the other didn't. We didn't want to pay the "discetionary" service charge, but staff member made a big deal of us not paying it. One older member of staff was very friendly and seemed excited, good to see.

This is the third time I've been here and every time it's first rate. The staff are friendly and accommodating - the best service you'll get in london. All the food is absolutely consistently tops. They give you water when you arrive, and the music isn't too loud. You can't ask for a better dining experience in London. I'm bringing everyone i know here xx

An amazing discovery. The waiter was really nice and welcoming. Good atmosphere and location. The food was really tasty and affordable. If you want to have really nice food with a chill atmosphere I highly recommend this place.

Delicious, authentic Latin American food. Super friendly staff and a great spot by the canal. I highly recommend the Tequeños, Buñuelos, Cachapa Pabellón and the Tres Leches dessert.

TLDR; good value happy hour drinks and delish food but a bit of patience goes along way as the restaurant is a bit under staffed.Came here for happy hour when drinks are 2 for 1 on weekdays before 6pm. Very respectable cocktails with a Venezuela twist but nothing too mind blowing. Fried chicken was delicious with the right mount of spiciness.Unfortunately have to take a star off for the wait time. Despite being happy hour the bartender was apparently on a break and we had to wait 30+ mins for our drinks.

Tasty food with authentic flavours - tequeños are a must! Unfortunately the staff were quite busy talking to their friends and didn’t seem to care about the customers. Also despite there being arepas with shredded chicken and fried chicken on the menu for the same price, the waiter refused to let us mix up some of the fillings. This is strange as the whole point of arepas is to fill them with the things you like! And we left pretty miffed with our experience.

Really enjoyed the Venezuelan experience. They catered to all of our dietary needs. I am gf vegan and I left fully satisfied. The Happy hour is a must and the cocktails were great

If you want something out of the ordinary, Arepa is the place to be! It’s a great location, set on the towpath along the Regent Canal in Haggerston with warm, friendly staff who are happy to explain the menu. We chose a selection of starters and mains to share, each one bringing new surprises of taste and texture. We sat out on the terace in the sun, watching the activity on the canal. The food and drinks are fairly priced and we’ll definitely return!

Walked from St Katherine's Dock all the way to Limehouse and along Regent's canal where we found this eatery on the banks. Cool bistro, good music and friendly service. We sat outside and enjoyed the atmosphere and the wildlife. But.....very expensive. £27 for 2 aperol spritz and some Yucca chips.....ah well....London prices !!
