Arsenal Tavern in Hackney

Belittled and scoffed at by staff when I came in with an IBD can't wait card. I have a serious medical condition and despite my embarrassment and acknowledgement of the sign on the door that stated toilets for customer use only...the attitude was disgusting. My condition is not my fault but was made to feel small, ashamed and like I was an issue.

Fantastic refurb job done Only place to have a beer before The Arsenal Apart from having to wait until there is enough space because of Islington BC restrictions

Great atmosphere, friendly staffs and guards. You could stop by pre-game and also if you want watch a game there is not overcrowded. COYG!

My go to place if you want to have fun playing pool. Dj every week with a dancefloor available love the place

Under new managment, fantastic selection of beers plus 1st class real ale. Fantastic matchday pub ( football) Spotlessly clean including toilets and a pub that i recommend to visitors and locals to the area.

Refurbished popular corner pub on Blackstock Road. Seems to be free house under Craft Pubs chain. Has strict Covid controls and low seating. Pleasant staff.

What a great job they've made of the refurb. It's lovely to see the Tavern open and full of Arsenal supporters on match day. I popped in on Saturday and it was full of arsenal fans and there was a fantastic atmosphere. Everyone enjoying the 2 - 0 result there was about 10 barstaff who worked as a team to make sure everyone was served as quickly as possible. I am a local resident and can honestly say there is no problem with any noise or disturbances even when they are open late at the weekends. We'll done The Arsenal 🍺 🍺

Soulless, went on match day no atmosphere even when the game was on. The big screen TV is awful, really tacky red neon lightning had to ask for volume to be turn up to hear commentary. The man in charge was clueless at running a football themed pub . The Barmaid was very friendly and efficient that was the only plus .Needs a manager who knows and likes football, a little bit of passion would change the place 100%. Left a half time to go to a pub down the road. Maybe a look a how the rival pubs work would be beneficial.

Great selection of beers and a lovely young lady who served us. Refurnished recently fantastic improvement on before. Going back on Saturday.
