Blue Legume in Hackney

I have been a few times the staff are great. But last night I dined with a friend. I was horrified when sone people arrived with a large shapely dog and asked would it be ok to enter with the dog. We had ordered our food so it was to late to get up and leave. I have nothing against animals but just don’t want eat food beside a dog. I could not believe they allowed this. Shocked! Will not be returning.

Great food. Relaxed atmosphere. Friendly staff. Good value for money. Just wish they'd kept their branch in Crouch End. PLEASE come back!

My wife and I visited this lovely restaurant today for lunch , we used to have a branch of these in Crouch End where we live and really miss it as we used it regularly.The food and service today was excellent and good value and would highly recommend it.Derek & Debs

This was our second visit, which is a good sign. We were given a very warm welcome and the service was friendly and timely. We all enjoyed our meals which were beautifully presented and will definitely be back.

Went for brunch and had so many choices to chose from! The hasbrowns are melt in your mouth good, the croque madame hit the spot for me! And don’t forget to get a juice they’re fresh and crisp ;)

Service was great, house wine was good and there was a a nice atmosphere with live music. Starter was delicious (we had the mussels), but the main course was really disappointing. We had confit duck from the specials, which was served with chips, a basic salad, ketchup and mayo. We both found the dish bland. The waitress did then give us a complimentary glass of wine

Went for a late breakfast. It was very busy when we got there but managed to get a table for 6.Food was nice. Had a Turkish egg breakfast and was really nice but paid about £2/3 to add sausages and it came with like 5 thin slices of sausages... I was expecting more for the price.

I was there on a Saturday morning for breakfast. The selection of different breakfast dishes is very good, comparable short waiting time, despite the fact that it was quite busy. The staff was quick and helpful. There are a few seats outside, although the street is a bit noisy. The food quality was good and delicious, the fifth star I would rate if there was a bit more quantity. But would come again.

A cute restaurant with chilled vibes that are great for a chilly Saturday afternoon sipping coffee and eating delicious breakfast. The Blue Legume make beautiful and tasty food that hits the spot but not the wallet. Definitely recommend

Really nice restaurant for a weekend meal, coffee was nice but there is a wide selection of drinks from teas, coffees to juices.All the food was lovely, so many things to try and so well worth a future visit.Staff were great and really friendly with good suggestions.The interior is nice and lots of space at the front and the back.Cakes to pick from for after a also.
