Busaba Eathai in Hackney

Dreadful - pad thai tasted like it had been cooked by a Russian and the duck had been incinerated to the point you couldn’t actually distinguish between that and beef. The som tum, though relatively tasty, was not enough for one person and was almost £11 - very poor overall

Enjoy visiting this restaurant. We usually go at quiet lunchtimes. Always friendly and helpful service. Plenty of choices, and combinations of dishes that can be put together. Absolutely delicious food, nicely cooked.

I celebrated my birthday this evening in this great restaurant. Well it was a fabulous evening and the place was unquestionably one of the reasons for that successful meeting. The waiters cooperated in a very nice manner, the meals were appetizing and my buddies were extremely happy. We shall no dout return for more events. Thank you very much.

What a wonderful restaurant! Food is so authentic. The chef is always willing to cater to our needs and the waiters are so polite and friendly. Aun is just the absolute best. Thank you so much for the lovely experience every time we visit. See you soon!

I usually visit for Saturday lunch. Their curry dishes are really flavoursome and delicious. It never disappoints. The serving man is always friendly and welcoming.

Incredible food, superb attention to detail with the packaging in order to retain heat,freshness and crunch along with super fast delivery. The food is absolutely delicious....Chicken Pad-Ka Prow with rice and fried egg along with the Morning Glory with Garlic and Chilli were outstanding (with insanely deep spice and heat)! In fact they were so good that we literally re-ordered those two dishes again after we finished!! They nailed the mixed starters and their satay sauce is as good as I’ve had anywhere ever. Not sure if the couple of historical, poor reviews are due to consistency or a change in personal/management but what I can say is this was as good a home delivered Thai meal as I can remember. Cannot recommend highly enough and will most definitely be ordering from them again. Phenomenal!

Truly awful food. Everything was so bland that we couldn’t even bring ourselves to eat it despite being hungry. We ordered a beef salad, a green chicken curry and summer rolls. The two mains were so completely lacking in any flavour that they must be cutting corners, leaving out ingredients and I assume using minimal amounts of low quality ingredients. I’ve had below average Thai a number of times in London and normally it means the flavours aren’t fully there and it’s not great but this was almost watery, it just tasted like unseasoned chicken and beef. The summer rolls had obviously been made quite a while ago and had a hardened skin on them. I ordered through Deliveroo. I don’t know if they deliberately send rubbish food out for takeaways as you can’t send anything back but I can’t imagine anyone would eat this in the restaurant. Complete waste of money.

Great food, nice service. We went on a Tuesday night and it had a relaxed atmosphere. We tried the aromatic duck, prawn spring rolls, the stir-fry main with cashews and pork, and coconut rice. They were all great.

Service is first class shame about the food though, it was very bland, sweet chilli was very runny, assuming it was watered down or that they use a cheap brand, hate giving negative reviews but........
