If you are debating coming here, stop. Theres a lot of lovely experiences you can have in bars in London. But, if you want legitimately excellent cocktails AND bar-people (men) who are real humans that aren’t calloused by too many G&T requests, this is the spot. Id say “will be back” but its a lot more than that. So, maybe go. Or don’t and go to XOYO and be a tosser.

Inventive but familiar cocktails and personable staff. Will definitely return and recommend!

Intimate bar with interesting and strong cocktails. Staff was really nice and kept refilling my glass of water. Had no idea about the "secret door" but keen to explore it another time!

I happened to stop in here for a drink whilst out in Shoreditch and then didn't leave the rest of the evening. The drinks were so good!!!Service was welcoming - Jamie was very knowledgeable and made a selection of cocktails for my partner in crime for the evening but I stuck with daiquiri's which were the best I'd ever tasted. The Eminente rum was a game changer!Complimentary water was provided so you could hydrate whilst dehydrating! Smart move as my head wasn't quite so bad the next day!The venue is really cool, the music was great, the atmosphere is dark and intimate but if you walk through the wardrobe you are going to be surprised, it's much bigger than you think!Toilet facilities were lovely, and if you know Shoreditch well a good toilet is hard to come by!I'm definitely coming back, what a find. I've saved this in my top local 5 bars in London. 10/10

This place is pure charm, a very public and yet private experience. Let the bartender recommend you some drinks because the cocktails are superb

Yes yes YES!!Visited Callooh Callay with some friends after not seeing everyone for years.I had always heard good things of Callooh Callay but never actually been so was glad to finally experience it.First off, Andre (I think that was his name) was amazing and very attentive. The menu has a huge range of cocktails with all different spirits so there’s something for everyone, along with the classics too.I would recommend the Shaka and Continental Kiss which were both delicious. Will definitely return should I need a bar around Old Street again.

Really well balanced cocktails and a perfect chill-Hackney vibe. Service was super friendly. Not pretentious, just good drinks.
