Great atmosphere and staff! Really nice place! This time the roast wasn’t as rich as it was last time I remember, or other london pubs, was lacking portion wise and the potatoes felt reheated .. probably bad timing of my visit! Definitely visiting again ✌️

Sunday roast was OK, nothing special but £3 for a tiny disc of stuffing (smaller than an Oreo) is a joke, for scale that is a small side plate, £3 can get uou 24 stuffing balls and get ready to cut your meat with a butter knife. #StuffingGate my friends and I now use '1 Stuffing' as a value of currency!

Visited on Saturday afternoon for lunch. Broadway Market was heaving with people, and the pub was pretty busy also. It's a nice interior and a good atmosphere inside.I went to the bar and asked to order a coffee and a male member of staff looked at me with a mixture of confusion, disdain, and resentment. He stated that they didn't serve coffee, and asked in sheer disbelief where I had gotten the idea that they did. I replied that the menu on the website listed a range of coffees. A friend asked the same member of staff, on a separate visit to the bar, for a recommendation on what to eat, and all they could muster was to warn him off of the mac and cheese.Food was pretty nice, but the majority of the staff were pretty frosty and unfriendly, with a couple of exceptions who were kind and polite.

Rustic & traditional style pub. Staff are no-nonsense & a bit cold. More of a beer pub - no up-to-date wine list and the request for one was met with "Just look at the shelf". Sunday roast was unimpressive, with potatoes too hard, & scraps of badly cooked veg, although the portion of chicken was generous. Overpriced & unfriendly, and clearly gets enough passing trade that they don't need customer loyalty. Great location though, between park & Broadway market.

The roasts do not disappoint!I visited on bank holiday Monday, to my surprise they were offering their reserved Sunday roasts. The bar staff were lovely and the atmosphere was very relaxed.We had both the chicken and the nut roast. 10/10 all round. Definitely coming back!
