Fantastic food, lovely staff and a gorgeous setting - my favourite restaurant in Hackney. The interior is cosy and homely, and the beautiful garden is perfect on a summer evening. The slow food-style Italian menu has gotten even better recently, and the wines are always good (and good value). Really recommend visiting

Went in and asked if I could sit with some food and coffee and work on my laptop for a bit. Had to get up and ask for a menu. Slow service. Asked for the WiFi password and was told there was no WiFi even though it clearly had a ‘guest’ WiFi appearing on my computer. Every time I asked for service it felt like I was being difficult. Not enough service staff so couldn’t get attention, had to get up to ask to pay and even then it was as if I was being difficult. Food was lovely.

I don't eat out often but Frizzante is right at the top of my list of an evening. I had the best birthday dinner ever here with my family recently. Absolutely delicious, generous but not excessive & something for everyone, including lovely, reasonably priced wine, homemade sourdough, great menu & a fantastic chocolate fondant to finish. The spacious somewhat rustic setting is right up my street. Hearty yet classy Italian food which is good for celebrations and also a more casual night out. We sat inside with the music this time but the garden tables are a good bet too. Friendly & efficient service & it won't break the bank. Looking forward to my next visit. Thanks Eddy & team!

Not great, mainly because I couldn't believe the price!My friend had to have a new cup of coffee brought because the first one was cold, the second just about OK. That and a piece of tray-bake cake came to £9! I don't think so, no matter where your ingredients come from. It cost more than my bacon sandwich and cup of tea. Frankly I can get better food at a far more reasonable price where I live in Dalston of all places. No repeat business from me I'm afraid.

Brilliant restaurant ! Beautifully decorated, absolutely delicious food with lots of GF and vegan options. Amazing cocktails, went with 5 friends last night, we all ordered a different cocktail and everyone said theirs was delicious !!Perfect location for a date, or a special group event. We were excited to go here when we saw the quirky and inviting decor however was disappointed with the experience we had.We went for a Sunday morning coffee, the service we received from the beginning was poor- staff appeared to lack interest and were unable to give clarity when we asked for a table for two.Once we finally got seated staff were slow to take our order and when our coffee finally arrived it was cold, and overpriced. Toilets were poor quality and failed to lock properly- another customer clearly so desperate to share the one available toilet with me actually shook the door so hard the door unlocked whilst I was on the toilet. Couldn't have left sooner!

I celebrated my birthday at Frizzante a few weeks ago and had an amazing evening. The food was delicious and fresh, and the service was friendly and efficient. Lucy and Eddy are absolute stars and were so helpful and kind in helping me organise the event. If you’re looking for a place with a beautiful setting, good food and an even better atmosphere, I can’t recommend Frizzante enough!

I celebrated my 30th birthday at Frizzante a couple of weeks ago and it was perfect! The chefs put on a superb dinner for 25 of us - the food was fresh and delicious! The cocktails were really good and we finished the evening with some lovely cakes. The service was super friendly and attentive and the setting in the garden was idyllic. The perfect hideaway. Bring your newspaper for a Sunday relaxing time. Good breakfasts. Service is slow but that almost adds to the charm; the service friendly. Patrons are friendly and it feels relaxed. I did not go inside. This, for me, is outdoor heaven. If you in a rush this is not for you.

The best place. Cozy Italian delicious and casual place. Thursdays nights there are the BEST, chilled atmosphere, live music, and the most high quality foods. Had my bday there and everyone loved it, thank you!
