Jelly eels taste way better than I thought.I can come for a bigger portion for it.4.8 pounds for 5 pieces is nice.Parsley sauce, vinegar and pepper are a bit too strong to me. Veggie pie and mash are so nice :)9.9 for a very good dinner

Worst pie mash shop in England. £10 for double pie and mash. After two bites had to walk out of there. Mash was watery pies were cold and had no flavour and liquor was bland. Slow service but quick when it comes to taking money

The jellied eels with mash and liquor sauce are so delicious, the best jellied eels I ever had. Next time I will order a big portion :-). My toddler daughter enjoyed her pie and mash too. They do vegan pies too, so I can bring my husband who is vegetarian next time. Friendly staff and nice authentic atmosphere.

The high praise is well deserved on the pies. I'm not a fan the of liquor, but that's probably because it's a new taste for me

Found out about this place through a documentary on Prime; 'The Street' (highly recommend). No doubt it lived up to its reputation. Authentic interior - CHECK, Food quantity to price ratio - CHECK (£5 for a hearty portion of pie, mash n parsley sauce literally spilling over the plate), Cockney dinner lady - CHECK, Hard BREXIT - CHECK. As Pie n Mash shops go this place is up there.

As good as everTotally recommendIf you've never tried it, give it a go now you won't be disappointed.Pies are traditional old school F Cooke, from pastry to filling, with there unique liquor real traditional Eastend food.Staff are friendly traditional Eastenders, welcoming and helpful.Veggies are catered for too with a great meat free option which personally I think is worth a try veggie or not.

Old style marble tables, wood seating and cold atmosphere. Good value pies and mash and parsley liquor. Sawdust on floor and sparse decoration Should serve mushy peas but can't be bothered.

World famous. Did not disappoint! Craft beer drinkers take note… just across road from 4 Seasons. Pop over for Pie & Mash 🥧

Proper pie and mash east end style wit sawdust on the floor. Went there to try the dish and was very positively surprised of how good it was.

Very traditional experience, people are very friendly and a lot of people from the local community come here. Had the vegan pie. It is very salty compared to other ones I've had but good overall.
