The food is normally cooked fresh to order. I have used this place many times and never been disappointed. The prices are about right. If anything to many chips, if there's such a thing!

Absolutely shocking the worse fish and chip supper in 26 years . Stale vegetable oil . Nasty tasting chipsFrozen grey fish that was fit for the dustbinThese people are not chefs and don’t have a clue on frying fish . Absolutely disgraceful it’s on par with robbery if one was eating in the restaurant you would refuse to eat and leave but these crafty people ask for payment in advance pack the fish and chips so the customers can’t see what they are getting ! If one is a bad chef why have a fish and chip shop . Some people would agree to be avoided at all costs absolutely horrible and nasty !

Extremely disappointed!!!The website said that all mains come with chips or salad , however I ordered cod and a haddock from uber eats and it came without chips. I also kindly asked for salt and piece of lemon which I haven't got. Everywhere else normally when you order fish you get it with chips and lemon! I paid for the main course and I got only plain fish, ridiculous. I won't order never again.

Worst fish&chips I've ever ordered. Chips were stale, fish was poor quality and on top of that clearly overpriced. I wasn't even given salt/vinegar or anything with it so I had just tasteless dry chips. Absolutely tasteless - shocking quality. A place like that doesn't deserve customers.

Great fish & chips place. I live close by and visit regularly. Battered sausages, chips, haddock, cod, mushy peas and house tartar sauce are among my favourite stuff to pick and normally for takeaway. Young and friendly staff. It appears clean and pleasant. This shop changed management just before the pandemic and the owner (a Turkish family) are now running this business. I haven’t had the chance to sit in and see how the in-house service improved but I’d be very surprised if it were worse than the previous lease holder. Well done guys - keep up with the good job you’re doing!

Best chippy in town. Crispy batter, smooth fish and crunchy chips. I hate oily fish and chips and, in this place it is absolutely delicious, not greasy at all and still tasty. Lovely staff and very clean. Thumbs up!

I was walking with my friends few weeks ago on a Sunday afternoon, we were looking for a place for a bite. This restaurant was really welcoming. The weather was nice, we had a table outside. The service was professional and friendly and the fish was really tasty. Great place to eat, I will be back.

The rebirth of an east London institution... Great quality, fresh fish and a good range of choice. Service with a smile. Definitely recommend for that classic British meal..
