Your favourite local bar! They have delicious pizzas as well and you can watch your favourite sports on TV. Big terrace outside!

Gorgeous open fire place and brilliant range of drinks including non/low alcohol beers for the non-drinkers in your party. Didn’t eat there but pizza looked and smelt delicious. Losing one star as their card machine was broken so forced to nip to a charging cash point across the road.

Good atmosphere and a reasonable range of beers. I've been coming here for over 10 years, during which the area around it has gentrified, but the George and Vulture has managed to not go "way gastro". It now has a large outside area on the enlarged pavement.

It's unusual to serve only pizza as food, but they create it literally in front of your eyes and I must admit - very tasty pizza. And good drinks.

Great atmosphere with a good selection of drinks. The quiz on Tuesdays is well ran and the pizzas served are very tasty and varied. Lots of outdoor seating but would recommend booking as all tables are normally occupied in the afternoon/evening.

Atmosphere was great, staff were helpful and lovely, but the prices were a bit steep and the portion sizes of the roast dinners were small. Food was lovely, but didn't leave feeling full as you'd usually expect after a Sunday roast. Ended up getting food elsewhere to compensate and for a £14.50 price tag you'd expect a bit more than a meal that could fit on a side plate.Great staff, great food, bit pricey for the amount of food you get.3/5

A couple of us went to the George & Vulture on Saturday last week. We arrived around 7pm and it was incredibly busy but we were still lucky enough to find a table. The service was quick and all the staff were incredibly polite and welcoming. The pizza was delicious, they had a great wine selection, and were all very accommodating for any dietary needs. Thanks to Simon and his team for a lovely evening!
