Super disappointed. Spent £24 on 1.5kgs of beef short ribs and they were essentially just fat. After breaking them down for a stew this is the only meat that was left…

Very nice butcher shop. We go here almost once per week, typically getting chicken, sausages, sometimes minced pork, eggs or other cuts of meat. The meat selection and quality are great. They also have a small range of beer and wine, including Kernel and some other locals. Good place to stop if you find yourself on Broadway Market in search of meat.

My gf woke up this morning with food poisoning after our visit last night. We ordered rump, lamb leg and mash n gravy. The food (only the rump and mash) took 40 minutes to arrive, even thought we were only the second couple in there and the first couple were already eating and was properly cold through and through. The waiter's response to the cold steak was 'oh we were just resting the meat'. LOLThe bread was also way too cold, clearly still defrosting or had been in the fridge for whatever reason. Not coming back.

highly recommended!Butcher by day and restaurant by night, this particular spot is absolutely worth going. we went for dinner last night and had, hands down, the best meat I had in the UK and probably the best pork I had in my life.I really loved the atmosphere, the staff was very nice, good selection of wine and I love that they have cards you can take explaining the story of every single farmer they work with.will surely come back!!!

I dropper in today to buy some lovely meat .everything was going rather well and the French ( from his accent I believe he was French ) butcher was helpful and informative. It come to pay so I approached him to tap my car and in the middle of this another young butcher come up form the basement and literally attached me saying I was braking social distancing ...but I was only reaching to pay and the French gentleman was kindly explaining how to to best cook this lovely steaks. The other chap not only interrupted it was extremely aggressive and rude . He would have never dared to speak to a man like he spoke to me. The mangement really need to help him in learning how to deal with customers. So so rude ..all he need it to say please keep your distance...how I would have tapped the payment card machine ...well it is another matter. I used have dinners there quite often with friends and buy a lot of my meat ....I will I go back...never ......I felt humiliated and very offended . Some people do not have the ability to speak to customers........Awful I should a call and an apology

Super-quality meat, nice atmosphere during dinner. Friendly staff! Maybe, the t-bone steak was incredibly overpriced (~100£/kg)

Such a special place, starting from the food , wines, service, atmosphere, vibe and music. A Brodway market little gem, highly recommended!

·

A good butcher and fabulous sandwich shop during lockdown. I love how the owner build a strong community in this place but the restaurant is 3 stars. Nicely cooked meat but very slow service/ lots of salt and oil.

We have been here twice for dinner now and can not fault it. The atmosphere is cosy without being cramped, lovely warm low lighting, great music and delicious food. A small menu that always changes depending on what’s in season. Simple dishes done beautifully that respect the great produce. If you’re going to eat meat eat high welfare meat- and that’s what you will find here.Plus super lovely staff and great wine. It’s the perfect date night place.By day- the take away burgers on the weekend are ridiculously good and I’m not even a burger person. The meat is high quality and the beef bones have been the best I’ve used so far for making broth. So happy to have this place as a local. 🙏

Been both day (butcher) and night (restaurant) and both are fantastic choices for any meat 🥩 lover.+ The centrepiece white marble chopping block is wiped clean, set for communal covers, laid out with great atmosphere and a buzz.+ A blackboard menu based on a small selection of classic and less common cuts is great to keep choice down but also meaning you know where the source of food is coming from.+ Cozy, intimate, relaxed and moreover, it allows you see exactly where your meat comes from and talk directly to the chefs who prepare it.The restaurant experience is stripped down with a show put on right there in the butcher shop.
