Italiano Pizza in Hackney

This is absolutely the best pizza place in Hoxton! The owner is extremely warm and friendly and the pizza is amazing. The deep crust option is very similar to Chicago's deep dish pizza, so definitely try that one!

Pretty good pizza for the price, the chief is quite nice. Not the best pizza I've tried but meal set is really worth a try.

It’s Christmas, and the owner of the shop took time after opening hours to deliver the pizza himself to me. I can’t explain how much of a gentleman this man was! I am extremely pleased with the service, not to mention the deep dish pizza was delicious! Highly recommend!!

Tiny little pizza shop that doesn’t look much from the outside but makes some of the best pizza around. Super cheesy, crispy bases and plenty of toppings. Get the stuffed crust! Came here not expecting much but have been blown away.

I happen to really love this old take-out place. When first moving here I despaired to find pizza like I was used to, and then found Italiano. I asked why it's so cheap and he feels 'the prices haven't changed since printing menus in the 90s; some of my customers may still have one and I don't want to upset them because the price in the menu doesn't match. It wouldn't be fair.' As you can probably see, the owner and his family are charming. (the price is higher on delivery services, of course). They get to know the regulars and have friendly banter with them. When I order my go to (traditional pan pizza, extra cheese, extra sauce, pepperoni, bacon, onions, jalapenos) he will ask 'But wait, is madame dining with you tonight? Jalapenos only on your half?'

I've never seen anything like this before. Too bad. Pizza with fish and oil flowing from all directions If there's zero stars, I will give u zero stars

Went to this pizza place tonight for the first time. I was very pleasantly surprised. The toppings were very generous. The pizzas were delicious (both thin crust and deep pan). The person preparing the pizzas (the owner) was very welcoming, friendly, courteous. If I'm in the area and fancy pizza I know where to go. Support your local businesses. Highly recommended.

Best pizza in London by far. My 7 years living there never found better. Mo is a living legend!! Great customer service

Ordering pizza at Italiano pizza is a great experience in and of itself. The owner is the friendliest person to talk to and has the most welcoming personality. I’d advise you to wait and order your pizza there to truly experience this amazing place. The pizza itself remains undefeated by any other place I’ve ever eaten at, and trust me I’ve tried a good few. Don’t miss out on amazing local places like this!

Such amazing pizza, a couple of times I go there now and such a delight every the time! The owner Mo is exceptional as well and so friendly. It’s amazing to see him passionate about what he does and tell you all about it. I would recommend to go there instead of ordering online though because the delivery apps (Uber eat / Deliveroo / jus eat) are raising the prices so much it’s insane! (12 or 13£ for the biggest pizza if you go, 18£ from their menu...). Shame on them!
