This unassuming little take away is a gem. Their pizza's are delicious, thin crispy base topped with fresh ingredients. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The best thing is you can order and eat it next door to the pub The Shakespeare. Can highly recommend.

As a local family we’re frequent customers at La Barca for their pizzas so we were excited to try the new grill menu which a friend told us about. We came tonight which was the opening night of the new menu, and ordered the family grill special which was perfect for a group. The wings were a standout for us- they were fresh and grilled rather than crispy/fried which was a nice change. The chicken shawarma and lamb kofte were also really fresh and tasty, but we enjoyed everything in the order. The taste of the meat was different to the other kebab/grill shops in the area, much more fresh and had a more authentic taste. All the food is halal and there’s also vegan options. It was also easy to order over the phone for collection and it didn’t take long to prepare, especially considering it was quite busy when we came in. Overall, all the food was delicious, fresh and good value so I’d definitely recommend looking at the grill menu as well as the pizzas!

We ordered some pizzas to take to The Shakespeare next door, and La Barca made them for us in 10 min! The guys behind the counter were very friendly, and the pizzas went perfectly with our beers. We asked for no onions on one of them, and they switched them out with the black olives we wanted. We went on a Wednesday, and they had a ‘2nd one half price’ deal going.Definitely ordering them again.

Quite a tasty fast food style pizza, but certainly not a traditional pizza. I would probably order again, but not if I wanted traditional flat base pizza. Make sure to take advantage of the “buy one and get one half price” deal for pick up.

Consistently amazing, delicious pizza!!! Super clean and the guys that work there are two of the nicest people you’re likely to meet.

Best-worst pizza? In combination with the Shakespeare this deserves 5 stars, but on it's own I wouldn't eat here unless I'd had a few from next door... it’s not as bad as that sounds, it's just there are so many amazing pizza places nearby so the competition is tough!

Probably the best pizza in Stoke Newington, fresh from the oven with customizable toppings on request. Quick delivery too

These guys weren't the fastest when I called in last night, but they are the friendliest, and their pizzas are excellent, and well worth the wait. Highly recommended.

It's like any other corner shop pizza with the same overpriced £££/inch concept you get in other similar fast food pizza shops, which in my mind gives it the poor ratings . Food was salty so naturally easy to eat. I suspect the vicinity to the local pub is why people are scoring this highly, that and the salt. Menu is garbled with idiosyncratic combos. If you want pizza go check out the pizzarias just a stone throw away on the two high streets. If you just need a salty pricy carb load after the pints this may be your place.

Amazing pizza! We live a couple of doors up get a pizza every once in a while and it never disappoints! Made like in Italy - proper thin crust with a perfect balance of toppings.
