Where is Medaso Tapas Bar?
🏠 106-108 Homerton High St, London E9 6JA
"We are closed for holiday until mid January 2022. We are primarily a wine bar and shop; a cosy oasis amid the busy Homerton High Street. Wine guy Manu can advise you to find the right wine for you. He also offers wine menu creation to pair with food for your home dinner party. On Sundays and Wednesdays we have a hair stylist doing haircuts in our barber corner. We sometimes exhibit local artist work, so get in touch it you'd like to display your work."

Stunning dinner at Morito!Morito is a tapas style restaurant, you have lot of different options & they are all sensational!Of course you have the essentials as Pardon pepper, patatas bravas & pan con tomate;Yet you can also find others really interesting vegetables dishes such as:- deep fired aubergines- crushed feneos beansWhich are as succulent, as the sea & meats ones like the-Sea bream ceviche with orange & cuminand the - slow cooked short rib of beef! The atmosphere is really pleasing & the service was excellent! Thanks a lot it’s a 5/5!

Twice my wife and I have stopped in to Morito without reservations, and twice they found a way to serve us. Morito offers an eclectic array of small plates which, taken together, add up to a pleasant dining experience. The food is very well prepared and very tasty.I do recommend reservations. You may not be as lucky as we were.

Lovely food. Water glasses are quiet small. Table could be a bit more sturdy

Had a really good time here with some of my friends, exploring the varied menu. As were on the vegetarian/ pescatarian side, this place is perfect for that. The aubergine dish is an absolute must get, so it the labneh and the prawns! The staff were very accommodating and friendly. Can’t wait to come back again.

I visted Morito late afternoon with high expectations. Unfortunately the food was a let down. It might have been just a bad day at the kitchen for the chef but the expectation was high given Morito touts influences from Southern Spain, North Africa and the Eastern Mediterranean. My first dish from the lunch menu was the betroot salad (£8.00) with nuts which was a great combination, unfortunately too much lemon was used on the seasoning. The second dish was the sausage (£9.50) which was a single sausage lacking any flavour and was served next to some sparse beans. The kofte (£14.000) was the final dish promising so much. It was the best of the bunch but the sauce lacked any distinctive flavour. The highlight of my visit to Morito was the service - friendly, efficient and genuine. Using Coal Office as a benchmark, the food at Morito in this ocassion, did not live up to its trendy reputation.

Gorgeous small plates with amazing flavours. We dropped in for lunch and the dishes we had were superb - winter greens with paprika, a delicious dip with roasted chestnuts and sprout leaves, plus some more meaty diskes for my wife. The cocktails were equally excellent. I regret that we didn't have time for dessert but that's a good excuse to return.

Stopped by here for a light lunch and was really impressed at the level of craftsmanship that went into some of these dishes. Not to be overlooked, the fried aubergine was superb and showed a high level of creativity. Would love to come back and try some of their other dishes

Staff accommodated our large group of two tables into one. Everything was simple with the most complex dishes e.g. the manti being the most delicious. Another highlight was the dessert of baked apricot, puff pastry and ice cream.

Loved our lunch here! The food is absolutely delicious. Vegetarian options available. Especially recommend the labneh. Cocktails are also wonderful! Particularly enjoyed their variation on a bloody Mary.

Honestly both the food and ambiance was lovely here - I would definitely be back for the food - wow.Unfortunately I have to give them 4 stars because the service was a little mixed. We waited 30 minutes to get our first round of drinks, then no-one asked us once during the entire meal if we wanted more drinks. We did manage to get a second round but only after chasing someone down. The waitress also got our order and quantities slightly wrong, luckily we realised before the food came out, but then the bill was still incorrect.
