Ming Chinese Takeaway in Hackney

The food quality has dropped down it used to better to night I ordered food and I notice luck of meat and veg oiliee and not much care I been ordering for years from there time to move on very poor quality meat taste old after 6 years to night is the last time I find else where to eat and I am chef lol

Worst Chinese Food tasted off, Have literally had to chuck it all in the bin it definitely was not fresh food. Never going there again and i will advice you to never go as some of reviews below also says it isnt fresh which i stupidly ignored

Great. Efficient. Tasty. Free prawn crackers will always make me happy. Nice portion sizes. Good price. Absolutely what you'd expect from the local Chinese takeaway.

Good quality food, reasonable prices.I've been using Ming for years as well as trying others, and I must say that there has been no competition.Bumped it up yo 5 stars. as the service and quality of the dishes/food continue to surpass my expectations.Thank you all for a wonderful service... I ve been there 3 times, I live around the corner. Rice over cooked etc, stomach aches each times (but gave it the benefit of the doubt). Owner/lady super rude and unfriendly. (guess you can't noticed that if it's take away, delivered). Bad. I m a chef and would definitely not recommend it.

Big portions and food was Ok, just average. Speedy delivery to my hotel room!

Baring in mind I only live 10 minutes away, my food was delivered 1 hour and 30 minutes later. Not only did the driver turn up with not enough change to give me, he also wanted to take my food back with him so he could get change. To top things off my food was cold and very salty. I did receive prawn crackers , however they was not fresh and tasted very old. The worst customer service I have ever experienced. Never again will I be ordering from this shop.

I Love Mings...The food is very good, tasty and top quality.Weather collecting or deliveries of food I have always received a uniformed polite customer service, good value for money in comparisons with other Chinese takeaways.A friendly family business very popular on Friday & Saturday nights which leads to service being slow on deliveries orders at times, but very worth the wait.I can not fault them when collecting orders, good speedy service and a warm greeting too

The delivery took more than an hour despite only being 10 minutes at most away from me. I was told that next time if i order directly from them it would have arrived sooner rather than through hungryhouse. Not cool! No free Prawn crackers though i spent almost 30 quid and finally the rice was salty, the plain curry sauce was okay, though i can't quite point out what it was missing. However the delivery man was nice and funny but that's not enough and i won't order from them again.I just moved back to london and i was looking for a local and this did not fit the bill :C

Food arrived late ( 90 mins ) and cold and it was only 2 miles away. A lot of food with prawn toast and rice acceptable but the Pork and Chicken were inedible - tasteless and hard. Very small pot of sauce for 10 pork balls. Soup tasteless too. Pineapple Fritters from tinned fruit with no sauce. Not the worse I've had but I would never consider reordering.
