mosaic clapton in Hackney

Mosaic is a nice Turkish cafe well known to the person I went with. She said that the owner could be a bit grumpy, but she liked him and his cafe.The menu looked promising but we weren't hungry and just had a drink, my friend had a well made cappuccino and I had a very good mint tea made with fresh mint and served, correctly, with honey to sweeten.I'll definitely go back again when I'm hungrier. I'm an old aficionado of The Z Bar Café in Stoke Newington and Mosaic is like that used to be, which is a good thing.I'm glad to have it near.The music was too loud, a sadly common mistake.

Always a beautiful place to visit. Very friendly service. The cook actually brings your order to your table. Such a personal touch.

A lovely hidden Oasis amongst this very busy road, a great place if you fancy some really strong coffee ! They have a great food menu which they are happy to adapt if you would like anything takeaway, (I had the Smoked Salmon & Scrambled Eggs) with really great portions too.Highly recommended.

Not bad fare. Limited beer at the moment but the food was nice. Very friendly staff.

My favourite cafe in Clapton. The coffee is lovely, food is always very tasty with a great selection of sweet treats and the owner really goes the extra mile to make sure you're well looked after. I just collected my takeaway lunch bag to find some complimentary sweet potato fries and an extra tortilla wrap. Excellent customer service and value for money.

Decent food, OK service and very reasonably priced meals with a good range of options. I liked the seating area just outside under the shade yet allowing just the right amount of sunshine in. Whilst the location is not ideal (sitting outside, the pavement is not very wide, so the traffic is close proximity) and wouldn't be suitable option for those with asthma or any other respiratory condition, it's a nice little find in this area. Definitely worth checking out.

What a lovely oasis in Clapton, am extremely friendly and well run café with a wide range of healthy and less healthy options.Vegans and carnivores are catered for with equal gusto. Freshly pressed juices, rich coffee options, creative smoothies along with a good range of breakfast and lunch options that have English and Mediterranean influences.
