New Noodle Bar in Hackney

uncooked food ( take away ). rude , argumentative staff when confronted. never again :(

If you want to have something quick and not too pricey, here is the place for you to fix your belly as their portions are usually big. Staffs are friendly in here too. I must say this place is very hit and miss and food are usually very salty. I went there today, and the pork was so dry and salty. I've been giving them many chances in the past, it's a bit sad but I think it's time to move on. Also the dishes they do is relatively in Cantonese style, but the taste of food is so not Cantonese... Also I never had such dry, dull... egg fired rice in my life, really disappointed.

Tasty, cheap and super quick is usually the priority (and business model) of your typical Chinese takeaway and here is no different 🥡🥢Not many takeaways have tables, so despite the lacklustre surrounds it’s amazing you can dine on takeaway prices vs a more expensive Chinese restaurant experience somewhere else.If only they would fix the door that doesn’t close properly every time someone walks through (i.e. every three minutes!).A great late night stop when you’re in a hurry.If my review or photos were helpful, please leave a thumbs up 👍 Thanks!

Great! I was desperate for a big soup and they delivered just that! Good value and nice low key atmosphere. Please fix the door, it's getting cold out there!

This is not my usual place, but since Covid my usual place has been closed. The food ordered, chicken chow mein is tasty, however today as I ate my last fork full I felt something gritty between my teeth and was horrified to find two pieces of, what can only be described as stones. I cannot explain why or what they could be, very disappointing as I had been enjoying the food but it will be a long while before I'm able to return; I have to forget the sinking feel felt having found pieces of stone looking objects in my food!!

Not my usual Chinese but thought I'd give it a try.Not my standard Chinese of what I'm use to eating.Doubt I'd get it again what also put me off is,I ordered 5 dishes and it was all 'cooked' and packed in 8 mins!The veg looked freezer burnt nothing was fresh.Saying that, the pork Hong Kong Style was nice, batter was crispy not dense and the sauce was nice.

Some of the most authentic chinese food I've had in London...dont let the location fool you.Lovely staff who've trained me to order my favourites in Mandarin (forgive my horrible accent guys).The test is always how many local chinese people enjoy eating there...it passes that test.Prices are amazing too, they always get the spices and textures right... my personal simple-favourite chinese in London!

Ordered take away, waiting for the food and watching the chef cook the food next to the counter.... the chef takes a bite of the noodles to see if it cooked with her hands and puts the half eaten food back into the stir-fry ( disgusting!!! ). I told them that I would not except this and asked for a refund straight away. They ignored me for 2 minutes and then they were shouting at each other. Then came to the counter and gave me my money back and acted like its my fault.... no apologies at all. Will never visit again ever.

Visited this eatery yesterday to meet a friend for a quick munch. Delicious food and good value for money. What I like about the chef, he doesn't skimp on the meat or king prawns. As an oriental myself, the dishes I tried, were authentic and I didn't get a tummy ache! Deco isn't brilliant but the food is cooked well and it's clean. Worth a try. Fast service!

My favourite Chinese in Hackney. Food is always amazing, staff are lovely & they accept your own containers for takeaway. Love this place.Update: they just gave me my takeaway in foil/card containters rather than plastic. Super excited!!!!Fab food, fab staff, fab company
