Incredible tasting menu

Cozy restaurant with good food but with some things to work on.We were given free appetiser from the chef that was lovely and the food was good. But compared to the price it was not what one could expect.We were totally alone in the whole restaurant which gave it a strange feeling.It was a party in the room next to us which I really think they could have mentioned before booking ( especially since we were the only guest). The party goers went by our table every other 5 min to smoke… at least they could offer us another table.I ordered a rib eye with béarnaise but was given a totally other sauce. When I mention that, the waiter said I was given an old menu. I mentioned it was because of the béarnaise I actually ordered the rib eye. But the waiter said that the other sauce was similar and good, not offering actually checking with the kitchen if they could make a béarnaise. They sauce was good. But not a béarnaise.

High Quality Restaurant in plush member's club, excellent and inventive dishes, main courses were a bit too small in my opinion for the price though. Octopus Risotto was excellent. Service was very good.

The restaurant was hacked and I was subject to a scam which has cost me £800!!!!When I called the restaurant to inform them they told me they knew and were contacting 'as many people as possible' but hadn’t got to me which I doubted. It is unforgivable that they did not send out a blanket email or make it their number one priority to inform customers!!They showed no sympathy for this stress and when I asked what their next steps were to reclaim the money (I had informed them I now couldn't pay my rent) they rudely informed me there was nothing they could do and were 'suffering just as much as I was' citing reputational damage... a private members club based in Moorgate, incredibly tone deaf!????Anyway I haven't even been offered so much of a voucher by way of apology lol. I would strongly recommend avoiding this restaurant - they do NOT keep your information secure and do not care about their customers. (As an aside I am having to change my number due to the sheer amount of scam calls I am getting daily...) AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.

A lovely dining experience. Prices are very affordable for the location and the food is excellent. Staff are eager to please and helpful. Entrance is a bit tricky to find bit a nice secret spot if you know it.

Booked via Groupon deal. As others have said, brilliant value for money. Great location in the city. Waited on hand and foot - amazing service. Food was outstanding and came out quickly. Drinks are not cheap but that was to be expected. Small portions. Some might leave hungry, but 7 courses saw us through!

We booked the Groupon deal for two. Excellent value for money- bottle of Veuve Cliquot champagne and 7 courses plus they have a vegetarian menu. Mostly though it was the fabulous service from Ivan that made our evening great. The lady at reception was also very helpful. They follow social distancing guidelines well too.

Worth the 9 month wait (thanks vid). It made it a 40th birthday meal in the end and I hadn't left the house for nearly 3 months, so extra special. I took photos because the food was beautiful, felt bad messing the artwork on my plates up, then instantly forgot because it was so tasty. The staff were fabulous, through all the palaver repeatedly closing and opening, all the safety precautions (nailing that), they were consistently helpful and smiling about it. I hope everyone tips them well, these guys are holding it all together fantastically.

Amazing first experience here!!! Got the offer on groupon for two, 7 course tasting menu. Initial impression "oh man it's so tasty but theres not enough of it, definitely gonna have to russle something up when we get home" Buttttttt by the end of the night I was so pleased and full up!Apart from the delicious meal we hadl a free bottle of bubbly to share but we didn't want to drink it and they gave us the optionhad the to take it home. Worth every penny!! Food cooked and tasted to perfection! Love love love

Beautiful place, friendly staff, they even didn't mind to make our food wait as one of us was coming a bit later. Food was absolutely yummy, but the person who asked for the beetroot salad in my group was unsatisfied as it was just 2 or 3 thin circles of beetroot and 3 drops of goats cheese and a sprig of the green leaves, we know it was a starter but it was to small for even feel the flavours. The rest, the food was great.
