Rose Garden Chinese Takeaway in Hackney

Not too bad & reasonably priced but the woman at the counter doesn't pay attention & gets orders wrong. When her mistakes are pointed out to her she insists that she hasn't made a mistake & refuses to correct her own errors. Very sad.

Terrible, terrible food. How dare you. This food wasn’t cooked fresh. It’s all watery and tastes like it has gone off. I have no idea how you scammers have gotten 4 stars. Do not buy from here. Go somewhere else. Don’t give these scoundrels your hard earned cash. Really ruined my night.

I have been going here for years and years and we genuinely mourned their closing, fearing they wouldn’t reopen. But they have! The same lovely people and the same AMAZING fried squid. You will not get better squid... it is ALWAYS cooked to perfection. All the other food is great but we all love the squid in this house and have not found anything on Uber or deliveroo even close!

Food tastes nice. Shop doesn't look the best. I decided to look at their hygiene reviews on scores on the doors. For anyone that doesn't know, the food standard agencies monitor food establishments and give them a rating from 0-5. I was horrified to see Rose Garden has been rated 1!So unfortunately I will no longer be ordering from there which is a shame as the food is actually nice.
