I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND AS A DATE PLACE! 😬The price was a bit steep for what it was.We had burrata as starter but it was very badly paired with pumpkin and drenched in balsamic. And for my main, it was only marginally better than pasta with ketchup. It wasn't special. We could have done with store bought sauce for like fifth of the price.Upside is, on Friday night when everything worth going to is closed, this place still has seats for walk-ins.But the waiter was nice.

Excellent authentic pizza!! Actually found this place by mistake while trying to find another restaurant but anyway; I was extremely happy with the pizza, really well priced and the service was impeccable!! I Highly recommend.

The best pizza, bruscetta, and sorbet ever!Seriously, order the Verace DOP, the special bruscetta with the freshly flown in mozzarella, and have the sorbetto al limone to finish.I have never had a lemon sorbet so smooth. The ice crystals were absolutely minuscule - it was more like an ice cream, but without the diary aspect. The pizza was divine, and I'm so glad the member of staff recommended the special bruscetta and informed us of how we should use the extra virgin olive oil to bring put the flavour of the freshly flown in mozzarella. She was actually a real star and I'm kicking myself for not noting her name down so that I could mention her in person. She had closely cropped hair, high cheekbones, and red dangly earrings. It was also great to be offered the free shots. I'm not a big fan of limoncello, so our aforementioned star team member brought us a hazelnut flavoured liqueur instead. We have been to a few other Rossopomodoros, and this is our favourite one without a doubt.

Ordered take out via deliveroo and it was very disappointing. The carbonara pasta had pieces of crumbed egg white and the sartu di riso tasted of burned pan.

Very good pizza. Can't say I've had anything else but have had the pizza a couple of times takeaway. Proper italian style pizza with limited ingredients but very tasty. If you're dining in then the music may be a little loud if you're looking to have a quiet conversation or peaceful meal but the music selection is pretty cool. Will have to come back and dine in at some point.

Very nice restaurant with a cosy vibe. Food is delicious even though a bit pricey. Marta was great in assisting and giving recommendations. Very friendly staff! Majority of the staff are Italian, which is fantastic and makes it more authentic.

This is a good easy restaurant to go to in Hoxton especially with a group. They take reservations which is good. Pizza is really tasty, drinks aren't too expensive. Would give the food 5 stars. But... compared to places like Pizza Pilgrims and Franco manca this is more expensive.

As we all know, once a year each February comes a day when couples celebrate their love. Their love of Pizza that is! Yes, Friday 09th February is National Pizza day and ever the romantic, Mr Flavour whisked me away from work for an evening of exchanging sweet nothings at our favourite Italian chain restaurant, Rossopomodoro in Shoreditch. This accessible Italian eatery delivers all the things we love about Neapolitan cuisine: A roaring wood fired pizza oven, an abundance of creamy smoked cheeses and a plethora of fine tomatoes used to create the most flavoursome sauces. A lovely bottle of Valpolicella helped us navigate the menu, trying our best not to order another Vesuvius sized mountain of foodie delights. Looking around at other people’s meals made this an exercise in resisting temptation. We thought the Tiella Napoletana would give us a little bit of everything and we weren’t disappointed: Gooey rice arancini, crispy potato crocché, pasta frittatine, seaweed zeppoline, deep fried aubergines and creamy polenta chips. This scrumptious platter took our taste buds on a tour Napoli, whilst leaving plenty of room for the main event.Mr Flavour has been lifting heavy things since January. He’s been burning off festive excess and sculpting a body like Michelangelo’s David. His eyes lit up when he saw the protein-fest known as Lasagna Napoletana: Beef meatballs, hearty pork sausage, Neapolitan salami, boiled eggs, smooth buffalo ricotta, rich smoked mozzarella, buffalo milk fondue and Parmesan, all housed in pasta and bathed in mouth-watering tomato ragu. He wasn’t keen on sharing. Fortunately, I had a valuable bargaining chip in the form of a Capricciosa Pizza. It boasted Roma tomato sauce, mozzarella, mushrooms, regional ham, artichokes, black olives and torn fresh basil, all layered across hand stretched wood fired dough. A true masterclass in Pizza and a fitting way to celebrate the date.We obviously had no room for dessert after eating all the above, but an Italian dinner is never complete until a few chilled glasses of Limoncello are brought to the table. We toasted our love for Pizza and each other with boozy citrus, deciding it’s about time we booked another trip to the Amalfi coast. That’s amore!
