Very expensive, i know it's in London but the prices are a rip off for a pint of lager that must have been served straight out of the Thames

A very nice afternoon visit. Was quite so it was a nice place to stop for a glass of wine while doing some work on the laptop.

£40.50 for 2 single vodka/ lemonades and 1 single whiskey/ coke. Three basic drinks that contained literally zero alcohol for over forty British pounds. If the manager could seriously explain the reasoning behind the pricing for me whilst trying to sound serious I’d like that as I could do with a laugh.P.S when I ordered I was sober as it was pretty early, after the round I was even more sober so thank you for helping me maintain a clear head for the rest of the night.(Visit:Saturday 19/02/22)

Very annoyed with the security at the entrance. I was ok while he checked inside out pockets, bags, etc. But picking up our wallets and looking through our cards and cash is not a security check but a privacy breach..

Pretty intrusive search at the entrance where they pat you down and also search your wallet for some reason. Also quite overpriced: a negroni is considered a "premium cocktail" and costs you £13.

Nice environment, fun staff, London prices. It's a touch above, with a laid back atmosphere.

AWFUL PLACE - Only gave 1 star as I could not post without a rating. Watch your drink very closely if you are drinking in this pub.We had 3 drinks and my friend could hardly walk yet me and our other friend were fine. One very nice doorman helped as he could see there was something not right yet the other doorman and the Manager were very rude and told us we had 1 minute to leave - despite our friend not being able to stand - yet she could hear everything being said and that was going on around her !!The Manager was so rude not interested in anything we had to say and whilst I understand he probably deals with drunk people every day it was very clear my friend was not drunk and we needed some help.My friend was "dragged " up the stairs and we were left outside the front door. They wanted us out asap - I would not recommend the Hoxton 7 to anyone and the Manager could do with some training in Customer Service.

Stars are only for the happy hour specials: 2 for £10 cocktails that are decent or 4 beers for £10. So if your mission is to be tipsy quickly in a quirky bar this place is for you. No Wifi. Vegan food after 5p. Our bartender was great.

This bar is good, friendly staff, good drinks. Nice outside area - will be great to sit out there in the Summer. Pity that the drinks seem to have gone up in price. £7.50 for a glass of prosecco but the shocker was the espresso martinis - £13.50 each - really??? Was also disappointed to find that if you pay with card, you can't leave a tip for the staff...Not cool.
