Good food but tiny portions and totally overpriced and extremely rude staff. We had a table at 6:30 until 8:45 and we were rushed to leave as from 8, they took our plates even though we were not finished, still had full glasses of wine, brought us the bill without a word. Won’t come back.

I will start with a note of positivity.A gentle reminder that anyone can pickle pretty much anything and before you visit this restaurant I heartily suggest that you try.I would love to say that I enjoyed it, but I was surprised to find that a place in Hoxton with food prepared in front of you had very little soul. The music choice was bafflingly depressing and there was no sense of enjoyment from anyone.Someone seems to have made an intriguing decision to serve pickled items in threes and if you're sharing with a friend or partner it's rather frustrating. So in conclusion, if you like that kind of hipster decor that includes lots of wooden hanging items, a boatload of brass, unnerving music and paying ten pounds for a plate of 3 pickled halves of tomato sprinkled with nuts this place is for you. However, just remember while you eat that somewhere nearby is a single half tomato that like me, feels very confused as to why it is sitting there when it could be somewhere else.

Fantastic local restaurant. All the dishes were delicious and the drink selection including the soft options were excellent.

Beautiful atmosphere and food. It is small and intimate with options for vegetarian and gluten-free dishes. The chefs cooking at the central table is a nice touch! Only downside is the natural wine selection.

Stumbled upon this little gem in the heart of Dalston. Loved the concept of a picklery, the place isn’t big but you get to eat literally in the kitchen with the cooks preparing your dishes next to you. We loved every dish, the pickled cherry tomatoes might’ve been a bit too intense for me :) but the cod cheeks, pork shin and gnochettis were divined!

Probably the best food I’ve had in London in a very long time! Losing a star for the staff who weren’t the most friendly, but would still come back!

Incredible farm to plate restaurant in a cost open kitchen. Delicious dishes with great wine pairings. Super cute spot for a date night or a special occasion if you want to impress someone. The staff were lovely will definitely be visiting again.

An absolute delight. I’m always cautious when it comes to sharing platters, but when dining at the Little Duck, you’d wish the menu would go on and on so you could try every single item. We were with 3 and tasted every single dish, all without regrets. They were well balanced, complex at times, then perfectly simple when so required. The atmosphere is lovely, the wine is slightly on the more expensive side, but the food deserves to be accompanied by a good drop. The menu changes often and always reads as a creative, delicious and intriguing insight into the mind of the chefs. Definitely recommend!

One of the biggest food disappointments i ever had. The restaurant is waaaaaay too overpriced for the size and taste of food you get.The pickles they do, taste like were made by picklery beginner, extremely oversalted and not very innovative, and almost inedible (thank god for big jug of water)Staff seems to be bit slow and confused. When we came table was bit dirty and there were some crumbs on it.The only thing positive about this place was interior design and food plating.

Mostly delicious and consistently fresh and inventive. I do think their prices are a smidge too high at times but we had two dishes today that were absolutely outstanding and frankly worth any price (oxheart and lamb broth). Feels very homey inside and atmosphere is lovely, welcoming and relaxed.
