Food was okay. But big downside was not putting on the sound of the match when it was a big match going on - it was evident that the tables around us were disappointed in the same. I’d say around 40-50% of the crowd were there for the game. Had I known this was the case I would not have booked a table here (after expressing interest in the game)

Great afterwork pub or to meet up with friends. Burger is pretty decent too and they host regular quiz nights

·

Nice bar, good location and decent choice of beers but weirdly got served with disdain and long waiting time

·

I came here for a quick gamma ray after work and stayed for hours! Great vibes and great staff and even better beer! 10/10

Generally poor experience in a rowdy pub. Roast dinner was sub-par and tasted right out of the microwave. The cherry on top was being rudely shunted out into the rain while waiting for a cab. Shame as there is a lot of potential here with the friendly bar staff who are not at fault.

Such a beautiful pub with a super chilled vibe and drowning in tasty IPA the staff are amazing and so is the food. Also I wasn't sponsored for this review but I could be for the right amount of IPA 😁

The Three Crowns🚇 Old Street🍺£5.25 Redchurch lager❤️ Exiting Old Street tube station can be a right pain in the arse, as many times I’ve taken the wrong exit and ended up on the wrong side of the roundabout. The good news is whatever side you end up on, there’s a pub very close by. The Three Crowns is one of those boozers which is within touching distance of the station and a good place to use as basecamp before you head off around Shoreditch. I visited here in December nearly three years ago as part of a crawl and decided this would be my first port of call. The one thing that you notice as you walk in is how long the bar is, so there was plenty of room to get served. I tried the Redchurch Lager which was spot on and not overly priced at just over a fiver. Even though the pub is all one bar, it’s divided in to two sections. On the right hand side is a steady food operation which was busier than the left hand side which was predominantly wet trade. It’s tastefully decorated here for those of you who need to be aesthetically pleased and the atmosphere was relaxed, even though just outside the front door you have the mayhem around busy Old Street. Little bonus, there’s a dart board if you fancy a game of arrows, a rare find these days in more central locations..Since my visit, there has been some changes made at The Three Crowns which I’ll have to check out next time I’m here. The pub faces some tough competition from local hostelries like The Eagle, The Old Fountain and The Prince Arthur, all of which are top notch boozers. I enjoyed The Three Crowns and will be back to have a beer here again another day. Note to self, I’ll make sure I use the correct exit from Old Street Tube..📊 Information correct on visiting 20/12/17

Great pub and location. Staff were super friendly and chilled, had a cracking night catching up with an old friend. Plenty of beers and great food. They had the footy on in the background but not overbearing. Download the app for a free pint, didn’t work for me.

A great street corner pub with a welcoming atmosphere. Great polite friendly staff to help you get drinking! Simple inviting menu and lots of beer to choose from, what could go wrong?
