Love this place! I live round the corner so it’s my local anyway, but it’s my fave coffee by far. Quirky inside, and friendly staff :)

Disgusting place and stinking attitude they spend more time gossiping the neighbours than serving the weak warm coffee,🤔 maybe just as well

I discovered this little cafe during the first lockdown where I was going to get a takeaway coffee then take a walk around the block before work. I wanted to support my local community and businesses. I was impressed with the quality of the coffee and I used to start my day looking forward to going there and getting a cuppa from there. However, I found staff who work there (especially the older ginger-haired lady) rather passive aggressive and irritable; she was making silly and annoying comments e.g. she couldn’t understand whether I said one sugar or two, latte or cappuccino (although I’ve been ordering the same drink every single time) just to intimidate me. I kept going for a coffee there for months in a row despite their negative attitude until I realised that staff were simply dismissive and disrespectful to me even though I was a daily customer for quite some time. I was left with the impression that I didn’t fit in their “standard clientele culture” (whatever that might be) so I returned to Costa instead where I encounter sober, clean, professional, smiley and respectful staff. Zero stars for the Tin Cafe staff. 4+ stars for their coffee.

I think this place was even nicer before COVID. The design of the place is an interesting one.The coffee is good, plenty of options for sandwiches and also desserts. They have vegan and vegetarian food, options with meat as well.If you want a vegan coffee, they have plant based " milk". I had a flat white with oat milk and was really good.If it wasn't for their staff, I would give them a 5 stars review. I think they could be more friendly and less moody. Just saying ;)

Very lovely little cafe. Staff are really friendly and they make my tea just how i like it! Prices are great too. Been coming here on and off for years. Very much the feel of the community cafe. Try for yourself and support them, you won't be disappointed. Will be returning no doubt for more cuppas! 👍👍👍

I have been here once and really loved the taste of my coffee and the atmosphere. The staff was extremely engaging and makes drinks with passion. The prices are standard and reasonable, although, I did not find much difference between the two sizes offered. I would have prefered a larger size for my coffee as it truly was divine. I Will definitely go again if I am in the area. Thank you so much for the friendly service.

Lovely quirky cafe. Lady here bakes the cakes at home. Friendly locals. My favourite in the area. I love mug my flat white came in.
