Wow, where to begin! This Thai restaurant is simply amazing. They have great dishes that are the perfect sizes and their servers are a delight. We had many times where we decided to change our order, and order new things, and they didn’t mind! They were so helpful in helping us know what is what and we’re even able to order a custom dish off the menu. Even though the outside may not seem very appealing, as soon as you enter the doors you are immediately taken to an alternate atmosphere! It is very calm and inviting, and the temperature of the restaurant was just right. I would definitely recommend to go to this restaurant! The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because of the covid protocols, nobody inside wore a mask and no windows were open, but this shouldn’t put you off, yum yum is a wonderful restaurant.

Had a lovely meal at Yum Yum last weekend. Booking online was very easy. There is a bar area before you go through to the restaurant, the member of staff took our drinks order as we waited for friends to arrive. We finally got to our table 45 minutes after the initial time of booking but they were very relaxed about it. We began with the yum yum platter which consisted of spring rolls, chicken wings, satay chicken and fish cakes.I ordered the lamb mussaman curry as my main which came on the bone which was fine. They also do beef and chicken mussaman curries. The menu is a bit overwhelming with so many choices of starters, soups and mains. They also do various desserts and I tried the coconut ice cream which came with my friends order which was surprisingly good. Overall had a fabulous meal with friends and a brilliant evening.Expect to pay around £20-25 for 2 courses, drinks are extra. I can happily recommend YumYum in Stokey and would definitely go back there.

The food and portion size is always amazing here, opted for the set menu. This time went for a group dinner and staff are always really attentive despite being busy. Would definitely recommend a visit!

Great food and excellent service made the trip and meal at Yum Yum Thai Restaurant in Stoke Newington very pleasant. Due to the time of our meal (3pm) the restaurant was quiet with only a few of the tables occupied, but for us it was preferable as we had the attention of the staff almost exclusively to ourselves, and what a pleasant team of staff they were, serving and catering for our every need. The food was delightful, we ordered the yum yum meat and fish platter with a variety of different starters for us to try out. We then all ordered individual dishes including a soup, pad Thai, red Thai duck curry with egg fried rice, glass noodles with seafood and steamed noodles with beef. The meal was concluded with two chocolate fondants desserts which we shared. The food was delicious and no complaints from any of us is always a good sign that the food went down a treat. We did not have to wait too long for the food either and when it did come was fresh and hot. The dessert had a waiting time 9f 15 minutes to ensure that they were freshly prepared.

I went there after a meeting, reached at 9pm. We ordered a set menu for two. That was a good choice, it gave us a selection of starters which was awesome as we got to try about 6 items each. The mains were fixed items which was nice, but I would have preferred to have a choice from a couple of more popular dishes.Food tasted good, and as such i found I had over eaten.Staff were very attentive, polite and hospitable.Because the restaurant closes at 10pm we had to leave early, or i could have stayed may be another hour.I will definitely be going back and introducing others to this wonderful Thai Restaurant.

Absolutely delicious, authentic Thai cuisine. Really nice venue and vibes. Excellent and kind service. The Afterschool Special Mocktail is to die for. Loved that they had many vegetarian options and a separate gluten free menu! Will recommend and return.

Good food, they were very busy and able to accommodate several groups.Starters arrived fairly promptly and this had kept us busy, although there were several staff, but they seemed really busy. So when we requested for additional drinks, that did take a bit of time hence the four stars. The mains took some time but the food made up for the wait. This would easily be a 5 star if they had more staff available or maybe more attentive.Overall good food and a decent atmosphere.

I’ve been here a few times over the last few years and it’s still just as good as I remembered. Food very flavourful, drinks (cocktails!) very tasty (go at happy hour to make the most of it!) and the staff is so friendly and helpful! Always with a smile.

The food fits the lavish large interior of the establishment. The staff are superb and friendly. The food was up to par and really tasty. Cocktail happy hour should not go missed!
