Lovely meat platter. Still reasonably priced compared to other Turkish restaurants in the area.

Trying to figure out why my table was the only table that didn’t get the free bread and dip while waiting for our order. Disappointing. Other Turkish restaurants are a lot more accommodating.

A very enjoyable experience. This doesn't have the footfall that the other heavyweights in nearby Dalston can rey on so it's really appreciated that they do make the extra effort. The meal was a typical Turkish Shish dish but it was the accompanying sides that gets this place 5*. The salad could be meal in itself plus wonderful onion dishes in complimentary sauces...plus a side of hummus..ALL included within the price. If you are this end of Stoke Newington, why not treat yourself ?

For sure the worst food and I have had from a turkish restaurant! The lamb shish was chewy and felt like boiled; nowhere near charcoaled. Falafel edible, below average. Calamari was sent (delivery) with the tartar sauce in the same pot so it arrived mushy, half dipped in the sauce.

Excellent food, really friendly staff. I go here regularly for their takeaway kebabs, which are huge in portion size and only cost around £7 (trust me, that is bang for your buck with the size in consideration). Very exciting to see the food cooked right in front of your eyes.When I bring people here to dine-in or get a kebab, they are literally stopped mid-chew to remark "this is unreal!", and I feel very smug for having recommended the place.Dining in is perfect for just one/two or also larger family/friend dos, as the menu caters well to all order sizes with individual items or sharing platters.

Had the mixed lamb grill and it was delicious. Came with a mountain of flat bread, vegetables and two types of onion sides - as an onion lover I couldn't resist. Staff were friendly. Will be back

Amazing place.I used to be a fan of the “other famous” kebab place towards Dalston, but I am a very satisfied convert.The mixed grill was fantastic. Charred, but perfectly juicy and tender inside.The complimentary salads and bread they serve are amazing. They do one with onions, sumac and pomegranate sauce, which is heavenly. I never thought I would enjoy raw onions so much.

Numara Bos Cirrik II (or NBC for short) is a great family run restaurant in Stoke Newington/Dalston. Great for their charcoal grill, mezes and kebabs. They have a unique set of onion based salads that you get. This is on top of the usual salad you get at Turkish restaurants. The onion in pomegranate sauce is bloody amazing.The cuts of lamb ribs and lamb chops are brilliant too, with the right amount of fat and the juices bursting out at every bite.The Albanian livers and Lahmacun are great hot starters to wet your appetite. I have never left NBC disappointed... Definitely try it out if you're in the area.
