Al Forno - Shepherd's Bush Green in Hammersmith and Fulham

I’m not sure how this place is so highly rated. We went as a table of six with a booking. We ended up pulling our own tables together as that was not ready. Food was ok. Nothing to shout about. Pasta came out hot and stayed hot for a long time. Although spicy from chilli flakes the dish lacked flavour. Chef is not able to do anything ad hoc even though has the ingredients. Waiter fairly forgetful so had to remind for water and drinks twice. Cutlery not on the table before the food arrives so food going cold while then very slowly hands out cutlery and attends to delivery driver in between. Idle time wasted between courses to not lay new cutlery and again arriving after food. Bill was brought out after mains and no offer of dessert. We sat inside but smoking was allowed in the outside section which is fully enclosed.

Friendly restrictions files like home because the owner look after you like guest in there home , nice food , drink atmosphere

Amazing place! The members of staff are really friendly and welcoming! We had the best time ever whenever we went there! I totally recommend it!

This place honestly slaps HARD.The staff are lovely and accommodating.The atmosphere is charming and rustic.The food is home-y, simple comfort food that reminds me of many other small Italian mom and pop shops I have loved over the years.The prices are extremely valuable especially for the area.For a warm, inviting and simple evening I can't recommend this place enough.

Very good for Pizza namely. The pizza is delicious, and with well combined flavours.The pasta, is plenty however, it really needs to e better al dente. It was a bit soggy when we had it and the salad which was meant to be a greek salad, had a lot of lettuce and not so much of the tomatoes, cheese, olives and varied combination.

A great surprise. This italian restaurant has one of the best valeu for money in London. The food is delicious, staff is friendly and the restaurant is simple and cozy at the same time. We’ll be back for sure.

Great place for all things pizza and pasta.The restaurant is in the centre of Shepherd's Bush but feels far from the huge crowds of Westfield.The majority of dishes are under £10 but taste far nicer than most Italian dishes at chain restaurants.All pizzas are made to order and taste fantastic.I recommend this place 1000%

Good Italian Restaurant! Even if the waiter and room personnel are not Italian, the chef must definitely be Italian because the all dishes are cooked as per the tradition, with good presentation and genuine ingredients. I enjoyed the pasta with seafood and the steak with Barolo and mushroom sauce. The Tiramisù is also very good! Very fair prices.
