Very nice, staff friendly. Although I didn't try the food others did and said our was very good and had returned due to how nice the food was. Menu was very good with lots of choice

They serve dinner. I have only tried the cumberland burger with fries. The price is reasonable and the burger is good. I usually have a couple of beers or even one shot whisky empty stomake before the burger and as you know it cause you crave food. At this condition the burger was very good. Never tried it sober though.The bar offers several types of beers, wines ans spirites.Staffs are friendly and polite. The environment is great for friends and family. Besides it offers several seats outsied that you can have a smoke with your drink. In cold weather, there are heaters on the wall though only the one by the side entrance is working. Good place. Highly recomended

Great food in a typical english pub.

The most disgusting roast-beef I never had in my life. It was like a gravy soup with 2 slices of very hard and tuff beef. What a pity… until 2018 they were serving one of the best roasts in London. I had no time to make a picture of the “dish” because I returned straight away.

So happy that our beloved local is open again. Today was the acid test, and the food and welcome were as fantastic as before covid. Glad to have you back guys.

Went there on a Saturday night just before a visit to Nell's to watch a band. Can't fault the service, really helpful staff. The food was great, I had a penne with Italian sausage Ragu. My wife had the Cumberland burger with mozzarella. The penne was really tasty and plenty of it. The burger was good, although possibly a 2 or 3 quid too much. The penne was £16 and the burger £16.50The pub itself was nice with relaxing music in the background, and the decor was good. It was a bit quiet on the night we were there.Overall a good experience.

The food was well prepared and cooked - I had salmon cakes, quite tasty and freshly made. The dishes come with some bread though I was too full to have them. Single dish costs around £ 14.Friendly waiters. They seem to have a cat if not stray..Can sit there all afternoon on a week day as it’s usually not crowded.
