Could do so much better.Shown to table and served by excellent waitress. Wanted the Pastry and coffee deal £7.95 first 3 choices not available due to supply problems from France. Miserable waitress brought my bill without applying the deal. Gents out of order. Disabled toilet needs new seat. Liked Parsons Green.

Wow are you joking? Just paid £4.70 for a ‘matcha’ latte (are you really applying service charge on coffee?!! You serious?). The worst part is that it was not matcha at all. It was basically some sort of power they use, in which you can taste nothing else than sugar. At least tell people in advance, given that someone might have problems having sugar and in a matcha that is absolutely unexpected.

have to say i am far from impressed. i walked in and when i asked if i had to seat myself, they just stared at me. i sat myself and when i ordered my beverage it took forever, i waited about 15 minutes for hot water, attempted to go to the bathroom but had to come back because the bathrooms were disgusting, while i was on my way i noticed my waitress sitting and eating, and still came back to my seat waiting for my beverage. finally got it and that was the last time they checked on me. i had to keep getting there attention to even acknowledge me.

So your coffee machine broke down but you let customers get seated and comfortable then you tell when they’re ordering?? Big disappointment ! Next time you have a machine breakdown either buy a kettle or tell your customers so they have the choice of going to any of the 12 other coffees houses in the area.

Very good place in this area. we had excellent brunch here. The staff is very kind even they are super busy on Saturday morning. The boiled egg is decent, the small plates of jam they served are quite good as well. Highly recommend.

Good coffee but I am afraid the staff are inattentive. I tried to sit and enjoy my coffee but I encountered a tell off attitude. No ding dong for this place unfortunately.

Pain was a wonderful experience! They had the best soft boiled eggs and we would definitely recommend Pain! We would definitely come again and try something new. It was a good value for money. The service was very impressive and our food came quickly and was hot and tasty. Florence Aged 9

Will never go back again to tnis place.... I was about to take a salad from their fridge shelves and when paid at the till told her i wanted to eat in, she then said oh in this case we have the menu and you can have this salad or something else, as i gave a. quick look at the menu there was nothing there that i fancied so i told the waitress i would take the same salad that i liked that was in the fridge. She said ok then came back with a plate of cold cooked slamon and green salad which looked bigger than the little pot i had seen, it was hard to finish it all and i ended up paying twice the price of that salad i wanted in the first place from 7 it went to 18 pounds with a coffee. It really annoys me when people are not making it clear from the beginning. Wouldn't it have been easier to just tell me if you want the same it will more pricey and you cannot have the same salad if you seat in!!!! Had it been clarified i would not have stayed!!Obviously a place where people dont mind to spend.Never again. Complete rip off and unprofessionally and misleading not to be more honnest.

Me and my mate went to Le Pain Quotidien for a late Saturday lunch. It wasn’t busy at all and it took them 10 minutes to give us a table and another 10 minutes to took our orders. There are 6 member of staff walking around but none of them bothered to approach us. Everyone is walking around pretending to be busy and doing nothing. Absolutely ZERO customer service...Food arrived and my friend’s veg bowl was fridge cold veg salad. It’s not a room temperature, it was cold literally, fridge cold veg salad. I ordered Salmon Trarine and a small bowl of tomato soup which was ok-ish. Tartine looks pretty and big portion but taste wise it was dull.

I just passed by, but I changed my mind then turned around to visit here and it is very impressive. I don't know why but I feel I can have a slow life here and that made me refreshing after all. Foods are made from organic ingredients. Coffee is wonderful. It was served in a Belgium-bowl style. A large cup of Latte is bigger than a cup of soup. LOL. I will come again and again.
