Mahdi in Hammersmith and Fulham

Cute restaurant with traditional decor. Food was great. We went for late lunch around 2pm. It wasn’t too busy. There was a nice atmosphere. The service was fantastic. Thank you Mahdi’s. Will be back.

In my opinion one of the best Persian restaurants for providing good quality food in London. Very friendly and polite staff, and good atmosphere. No alcoholic drinks.

Excellent place to enjoy a fabulous Iranian dish in London. I had a hard time selecting since it all looked great. There was a lot of food on the menu I had never had before, but I was very much surprised by the taste and quality. When I'm back in London, definitely pay them a visit again. Highly recommended

I’ve been here once before and it was good. I’ve come back now as a dad with a baby and a toddler. Came in with pushchair. Greeted by the most expressionless people you could imagine. Asked to sit at a table that was blocked off by an awkwardly placed chair. I then sat at a different table and was asked why I didn’t sit where I was asked. I replied I can’t sit there because it’s blocked off. He then moved the obstacle out of the way. Now I’m waiting 10 minutes and not offered a high chair for the 7 month old despite it being obvious I will need it. I ask for one, it then comes. I’m going to try and enjoy the food now despite these people seemingly not understanding basic customer experience. What happened to the service here? Where’s their common sense?

The staff was very lovely and welcoming. Food was really delicious. The decor inside was very traditional. Spacious inside and good seating area for customers. Would definitely come here again soon.

The service really let's this restaurant down. Doesn't really make a difference if you walk in or book a table - you will be left standing in the middle of the restaurant waiting for a table. You'll also be left waiting a long time for food and it is difficult to get the attention of the staff. I would advise visiting at off peak times. The restaurant is beautifully decorated. The food is good, large portions.

Mahdi restaurant has always been my favorite place to have Iranian food! I have been going there since last twenty years! I love the atmosphere, above all. It's like a warm hug on a cold winter night! The food is amazing! Fresh tandoori naan is to die for! If you want to chill out and try Iranian best cuisine with friends and family Mahdi restaurant is the place to be. You'll not be disappointed. 👍

I am a big Mediterranean cuisine fan but this food was just mediocre. Hummus was dry not served with olive oil, kebabs were fine and pistachio saffron ice cream was good. It had more pan flavor in it. Average customer service but food came on time we didn't wait that long. The restaurant was little bit congested. I may visit this place again when i am in London next time but i had a good time here. They may need to work towards there customer service.

Friendly and very attentive staff, clean and nice decorated restaurant. Loved the minced lamb meat. The fresh bread with pistachios is one of my favorites.

Average food, lacked flavour and taste. Service was okayish. Cold and warm starters were decent but nothing stood out. Mix grill platter was disappointing. Unfortunately wont be coming back here again and I’d stick to my regular Persian restaurant.
