I was introduce to this place years ago and is better then ever!I went there last week for dinner with friends. I love the deco of this place which is sophisticated and so welcoming! Food is fresh and tasty, I love Lebanese red wine, really exotic, they have fresh mint tea which I always have after dinner, plus delightful deserts. I was served promptly and people there are so attentive and very kind. You can sit outside there is heated area and have shisha. Highly recommend this place!

I must admit at first I was a little anxious about coming to this place as the reviews are not great. However I was pleasantly surprised as the food was absolutely delicious, the environment was clean, there was a nice overall vibe to the venue and the restaurant was clean. Unfortunately I am not sure whether they were short staffed or just slow in completing their tasks, but the service was really slow. We ordered drinks and waited patiently but after half an hour when they still had not arrived, we were surprised to learn our tray of drinks were sitting on the bar, they continued to be left there for another 10 to 20 minutes even when we asked where our drinks were. Also a party that was seated after us were served a lot faster and BEFORE us.Thankfully the staff were really nice and friendly but as I said the service could’ve been a lot quicker earning them another star.

I wish the food is as good as the service I had. Food was was ok-ish, still looking for that oompf that you expect from enjoying this type of dishes.I have doubts that the pomegranate juice I ordered is actually freshly pressed as claimed in the menu

Delicious food, lovely decor and generous portion sizes but some of the staff in there are extremely rude.I entered the restaurant and happened to end up walking behind a member of staff. Another staff member who was on his way out through the door said hello to his colleague in front of me, looked at me, scowled and passed without saying anything.(I don’t even understand why the staff don’t have their own entrance and are coming in and out through the same doors as the customers, but that’s a story for another day)I waited by the door for about 5 minutes for somebody to attend to me but they were all apparently too busy even though the place was empty aside from a family of 4 having their lunch. After looking around for somebody to speak to I found a middle-aged gentleman tapping on one of the electronic tills. He turned and stared at me for a couple of seconds with a blank look on his face as if I had just fallen from the sky. He was dressed all in black and looked so unapproachable that I doubted that he even worked there so both of us just stood there looking at each other.I asked him if I could order at the till because I couldn’t see anyone at the door and he VERY RUDELY waved his hand at me saying “Yeah, yeah, yeah somebody will be with you in a second” and quickly turned back to his important task on his computer. I went back and waited at the door.Another nice lady practically ran over looking suitably embarrassed, politely offered me a menu, answered my questions, took my order and offered me somewhere to sit.I’m angry with myself that I even stayed to order after that. I should have walked right out but I was extremely hungry and wanted to find something healthy(ish!) to eat.And the real shame is that the food is really, REALLY good! I ordered a haloumi wrap with fries and a sautéed prawn mezze. It sounds simple but you would be surprised at how many places get it wrong. This one was perfect.Enough seasoning, not greasy but not too dry either. Soft vegetables and salad that don’t break your teeth and nicely cooked cheese that isn’t rubbery or tasteless. Exactly how Lebanese food seems like it would taste when you see it being prepared on YouTube.I just can’t understand what is so difficult about smiling and greeting a paying customer. If you believe we are below you then why take the job? I thought Lebanon was world-famous for its amazing hospitality?? Did you leave your manners behind in Beirut??I don’t usually leave reviews but I have to say something to stop other people from having this kind of horrible experience.EDIT: After checking other reviews I can see this is a recurring problem. Management needs to do something about it because it really is a lovely place! As you can probably tell, I’m still rather upset about this.Somebody in another review mentioned racial bias which I didn’t want to touch on but I have to say that after I was seated, a group of four entered and literally everyone on the staff rushed forward with a huge “HELLO!” The gentleman I mentioned before rushed from the till on the other side of the bar just to greet these people and I turned to look at him in shock. So they actually know how to welcome guests but just seem to pick and choose who they want to acknowledge and who they want to treat badly. This is what was really bothering me all the way home and why I had to write this review.Tldr; delicious food, horrible staff, never wasting my time in there again!

Ordered mixed grill, lamb tajine and hummus, tabbouleh which was so good forget to take pictures 😅. The lamb was very tender falling apart. Mixed grill was full of flavour chips thin and crispy. Only the chicken cubes were slightly dry though but still tasted nice.

Locate just off the main building of Westfield in white city. Food was excellent although I would not recommend the tagine as it's more like tomato soup with a bit of lamb cubes, would recommend to take this item off the menu. Ambience was average, price is adequate. Couple of improvement suggested - toilets could do with a bit more frequent attention. Staff could be more attentive, greeting customers at the door soon as they come in makes a lot of difference, we left stood at the door on entrance for few minutes without being addressed, and the restaurant was not busy at the time.

The lamb was very tough and under seasoned, chicken was nice but very salty. Also had an apple martini which was basically apple juice and cheap tasting vodka - I would definitely not recommend. Members of staff were very unapproachable, they didn’t welcome us when we entered, they used no basic manners when interacting with us and were very direct.1 star because the cost was reasonable and the rice was nice.

I was looking for somewhere to eat after shopping at Westfield. Stopped by this place out of limited choices cos most places to eat were either packed or closed. They sat me down right by the door and gave me the menu After looking at the menu no one came to take my order.. I had to ask twice until my order was taken.. food came within minutes. I ordered a starter and main course, both were served at the same time.. so I had a whole table full of food and rushing to eat my starter to get to my main course while still hot.. I had to take a doggy bag as it was large portions. However no friendly waiters, no follow up to check if everything was okay like how it’s done.. I couldn’t wait to leave.. but it’s a 2 star only for politeness!!Zero customer service..

Popped in for light dinner. Decor looks lovely. Customer service was excellent. Food came fast. It was tasty but nothing special. Pickle looked old. Atmosphere wasn't as great because people were smoking shisha outside and they had all the doors fully open. This meant all the shisha smoke was coming inside impacting diners inside. It was very hot day. Still water wasn't cold at all. Was just given a glass with ice. No air con.

We booked a table for 8 friends and were given a nice area, with booth seating. It felt very cozy. We shared a meat mezze and vegetarian mezze and they were delicious especially the Baba Ghanouj (grilled aubergine). I had chicken wings and they're tasty, grilled well with some smoky flavour, and the accompanying sauce gave it some spicy tangy kick. Then we had the baklava and they were the most amazing thing I've ever had, so crispy, crunchy yet soft and chewy, not too sweet, just right. Finished it off with the fragrant fresh mint tea and really enjoyed dining here. Will be back again!
