Today I had a lunch of falafel and hummus, with olives and pickles, at Mr Falafel. It was outstanding, the best falafel I've eaten in London by a long way. Crisp on the outside and succulent (but not greasy) on the inside, perfectly spiced and delicious. The hummus was also perfection - a generous helping nicely garnished with parsley, olive oil, boiled chick peas, pickled turnip and a dash of cayenne. I've lived and travelled in the Middle East, and my meal compared very favourably with the best I've eaten in Palestine, Lebanon, Jordan or elsewhere. Don't miss this treat. A simple café, very moderately priced, but which packs a real punch in food quality and friendliness.

Absolutely excellent falafel! Try the falafel and makdous wrap, and definitely try their pomegranate sauce! I was recommended to get their falafel by a friend and it didn't disappoint. I'm a regular now. Probably one of the best places in London.

I have been coming to Mr Falafel's since 2014, after a trip to Jordan and Lebanon, where I discovered what real falafel is meant to look and taste like. I tried dozens of different falafel places around London, in the pursuit of the ones that I had had in the Middle East, but none ever satisfied me. One day, a friend told me about this place, saying "they're real Palestinian guys, who make real Palestinian falafel, the best in London". I tried it once, and never looked back. Nearly 8 years later, I am glad to be able to report that it is even better than it used to be: the falafels are still made fresh, from scratch, as are the tahini sauce and hummus. The other ingredients ( lettuce, tomatoes, potatoes, etc) are also fresh, and very generously served. What has changed is that the wraps themselves now come in different sizes: budget size, the smallest one, medium, large, extra large, etc. Different appetites and budgets are better catered for in this way, without compromising on quality. As for the service, it is fast and efficient, although the long queues sometimes mean longer waiting times. Don't be put off by that, though, for your wait will be worth it. By the way: there are four or five other falafel places in Shepherds Bush market, but none is ever as busy as this place is: why do you think this is? The staff ( two Palestinian guys, one with a beard, one without, both nice!) are friendly and helpful, and clearly 100% committed to their craft. To them, this is about way more than just cooking and selling falafel, which you'll realise from the very first bite. I now live in France, but still make a point of visiting this place every time I come back to London, and could not recommend it more. If you love the taste of real falafel, in the true Middle Eastern spirit of generosity and attention to detail, then this is the place for you. Period. Long live Mr falafel and his crew :-)

Amazing falafel definitely the best I’ve ever had. The atmosphere inside is also very nice with the staff being very friendly. Ive had a selection of the wraps and all taste really good. Sides are also nice and the prices are amazing. A must visit destination in west london.

The worst so called falafel I ever had. It tasted of cheap sauces and ingredients and there were no falafel visible in the wrap. I went there with great hope but was totally disappointed. With regards to your reply - yes I came to your shop which is called mr falafel especially. The stuffing in your wrap had mostly potatoes and less of falafels. My favourite is still pilpel and the bread they use is also unique very tasty. They always put in loads of falafels and also give one to taste in the start. Maybe you can learn from them.

I go here with my friend Michael who introduced me to Falafel at the ripe age of 40!Every QPR game I'm free we come here and I love it!!!Best meat free meal I've ever had, good size portions, quality fresh produce, great prices with fantastic service.

Genuinely the best falafel place in London! And this is coming from a Middle Easterner! The falafel is served hot and fresh, the hummus is fresh and home made and the wraps have all the authentic and original ingredients that are hard to find in other falafel places around London. It’s also a big bonus that the owners are a family from Palestine 🇵🇸. Highly recommend it and can’t wait to go back!

As always the best quality Falafels in London are found here. Even the spices are concocted at home. In an ideal world, I'd eat here once a day. I'm grateful for this place and their commitment to quality

This is a good falafel place. The falafel isn't already cooked, they cook it once you order. It doesn't take long for the food to get ready and when you do get it you won't be disappointed. Definitely going back.

Don't expect a restaurant as this is more of a takeaway place where there are only a few tables inside and no waiter. Strip away the peripheral superficial decor and this unpretentious little Falafel shack tucked away in Shepherds Bush market is undoubtedly the best Falafel joint in the whole of London. It’s very close to the main road, so you don’t have to venture too far into the market. With a variety of Falafels to choose from, they have innovative flavour combinations to cater for the Western palate including fillings such as Feta Cheese, Halloumi Cheese, Spicy Tomato and more.I asked the chef to prepare me the traditional Lebanese Falafel which includes just five ingredients; tomatoes, red pickles, green pickles, parsley and Tarator sauce. Tarator is a wonderful Tahini based sauce used as a condiment for many Middle Eastern dishes. Having been raised on falafels, I know what a good falafel is supposed to taste like. Theirs certainly don’t fall short compared to those I’ve eaten in the Middle East. Crispy, fresh, warm – each bite is truly mind blowing.Prices are reasonable where portion sizes are very generous. Regular wraps are between £4.75 - 6.25 and the extra large between £5.50 - 7.30. The cafe is open 11.00 - 18.00 Mondays to Saturdays. If only they were open for dinner too.I have been coming here for years and this place never disappoints. It is spotlessly clean and consistently excellent with very fast service. A mono-product concept where quality is very high. The owner who is Palestinian also runs the café. He merits more than just a recommendation. He deserves an award for this place.
