Bizarre unprofessional and confrontational service from the girl managing the floor. Waited over an hour and a half for food or alcohol, no one came to check on us. Others in the restaurant were visibly and audibly frustrated too with time wait. It appeared to be a big effort when she took our order, and when the food finally arrived and I gently complained about the long time and possibly some money being taken off for waiting so long, she became sarcastic, hostile and rude, which upset me and ruined my dinner experience. She proceeded to flirt with a group of men in the restaurant, which seemed to be more important than dealing with orders. Additionally, after insulting me and being sarcastic and patronizing, she asked if we would like water, we said yes, and she never brought any for the entire meal. Also, she said that there were no poppadoms being made and dismissed the possibility of having any, but when I asked the kind and helpful young man who was waiting, he brought some out for us immediately. I was confused by this. When she agreed to having money taken off the bill, which I was grateful for and thanked her for, she proceeded to say sarcastically once more 'I wouldn't want to keep you waiting any longer!' Which extremely upset me considering I thanked her. I think that the décor is beautiful and it could be lovely, but this young woman's attitude was rude and too quick to jump down customers throats. There should be a quick apology for the food taking so long! Not an insult! I exchanged words with 2 groups of other diners there who also complained about the slow service. I won't go back again, very upset by my first experience. Please change your attitude!

Fantastic service from Yasmin and her lovely mum! Would definitely recommend, they also accept a taste card and the food is delicious!

Popped in for a meal, couldn’t say enough about this place a little gem, and the lady who served us was amazing. Food was lovely and would say, if your in the area pop in.

Absolutely diabolical experience. I would not recommend this in a million years. Food was cold and if you fancy a hair in your naan, this is the place for you. After reading the reviews, I was expecting an outstanding dining experience. My cat could cook better. In fact give me a tin of cat food and that would be more appetising. Meow.The manager was incredibly obnoxious and rude to the point of confrontational. She was shouting at us, wouldn’t let us speak and was even shouting and swearing at her own chef in the kitchen, which I assume was because the food wasn’t up to standards. When she came out of the kitchen we said we heard all that and she laughed.Waited nearly 2 hours for the food and the table next to us had to ask for a bottle of wine around 5 times!!! Service was so slow. I would never return to this establishment. The establishment will respond denying my claims, however, I recorded the manager’s rude tone, so will be happy to share that with anybody who contacts me. I will also be contacting Trading Standards as I do not believe this establishment is fit to trade.UPDATE: Yasmin’s reply is completely untrue. We arrived at 9:30pm and didn’t receive our mains until 11:30pm, I have this evidence on phone, so Yasmin I’m afraid to say, you’re a compulsive liar. You have also not addressed my concerns about you shouting and swearing at the chef!

Really really disappointed with the food. Every sauce was extremely thin and watery, not creamy at all- the Madras, the Lahori and the Dhal. Also the chicken in the Madras was incredibly chewy so I left most of the food. Its also very expensive which makes it even more disappointing!

Such a lovely evening, beautiful gem and cuisine on New Kings Road. The food was fresh and tasty. We ordered Chana masaladaar, tarka daal, bombay aloo, paneer... cute venue, nice vibes. Yasmin the owner is a great host. Definitely go there again. Must try the chocolate martinis! Delicious.Thank you for your hospitality

The portions are generous, ingredients fresh and the choices availble from the extensive menu allow you to try something different each time you return. Despite having different dishes on each visit myself, there has yet to be one that wasn't bursting with amazing flavour. I can honeslty say that I am fortunate enough to have tried such complementary spices and seasonings (shout out to the Chefs). The staff were so welcoming and hospitable and the sentiment that your experience is their priority is so clearly conveyed. I'd like to give a special mention to Yasmin; her warmth and kindness continues to be unrivalled. I look forward to stopping by again soon!

One of the best Indian restaurants in London.. Very delicious and healthy food. Really impressed with the service. Woow , what a care they took on us. To be honest, when I entered I was not sure about how good. But they proved not to judge the book by its cover. Thank you once again for wonderful service and food.

Pretty average food, nothing authentic. Had a biryani, which was just rice and chicken curry cooked together and too sour, Kadhai chicken was just Chicken Jhalfrezi. The service was too slow as well. The best thing on the table was tap water. Would not recommend at all.
