Very disappointed - the chef has changed and it’s not a Caribbean chef - food has gone way down hill whilst prices have rocketed! Good thing is it’s put me right back in my kitchen cooking real good tasting Caribbean food!

Down hill completely.. prices are absolutely ridiculous especially with the sizes they give you .. do not eat here. .. hot pot on Goldhawk road prices are at least reasonable and portions ALOT better customer services 10x better , not only are the prices crazy but they also don’t want to let you pay with card no more .. we all no why . For that price the container needs to change . Large oxtail £12 plus and you will get 75% rice in the container with the other 25% meat which becomes 4 pieces soI can pull hate to see what you get with a NormalSize . Complete rip off

Best Tasting Jamaican food in west London hands down. No contest. Huge portions and good service with a smile. Any low/bad reviews on here are tryna pull a fast one. I get this food on the regs and it’s always EXACLTY the same and on point. Reading these snaky reviews on here makes me angry

Had wait and hour and half wish they could have just told me that as I was calling to ask and they kept saying on way on way come. Also the curry goat standard and soup was so thick and the saltfish bread so dry not worth 25.00 and hour and half wait will not be ordering again sorry happened way too Many times

Loved the food. Ordered rice & Peas with Oxtail and Curry Goat and it tastes delicious. Good proportioned food and a good price. Friendly staff and would definitely come again

FOOD IS OILY, STALE, REHEATED AND CONTAMINATED!I have never been so disgusted and disappointed. Allegedly, this shop has served Rihanna and many iconic reggae artists - I don’t think so.Yesterday, I bought two fried dumplings with salt fish. By the time I made it home, almost 20 minutes later, the dumplings were extremely hard, stale but warm. I could have used them as tennis balls. I couldn’t believe I paid for a oily rock made of flour and fish. I’m sure the Flintstones would’ve enjoyed it, but definitely not me. It must have been microwaved and kept warm for too long. Why not make dumplings by order? It takes 3 mins to cook. After plantain it’s the most simplest Caribbean dish to make.The fried dumplings were extremely oily. Oil was actually dripping off the bottom through the paper bag. One of the worst parts was I attempted to take a bite (almost cracked a tooth) and what came out my mouth was a long white string. I actually couldn’t believe it. I immediately spat out the food and threw it away. I didn’t even think about taking a photo, I just felt so disgusted by the taste, touch and mysterious string from the rocks (I mean dumplings).I will never buy from here again. If you really want a delicious freshly made fried dumpling that melts in your mouth, go to Chicken Kitchen in Goldhawk Road. They actually cook all their food fresh for you. They have an open kitchen behind the counter.

Just tried it instead of going for fried chicken. Jerk chicken and rice was absolutely delicious and good portion size. Definitely coming back for more!

Always so very disappointing, rude staff, the food is mediocre at best, any time I go here I remember why I don't!!! Waste of money, years ago this place was banging now they trade on past reputation but do not live up to it.

UNDERCOOKED/STALE DISGUSTING! This is the second time I’ve had disgusting pink stale chicken from here, they clearly do not know how to cook chicken

I used to eat from here a lot but of lately the food is terrible i dunno if u have changed your cheif or u just dont put the heart into cooking anymore.I order curry goat and hard food the curry was absolutely disgusting the gravy was over thick it didnt smell to healthy either its the worst curry goat ive ever had in my life and not to mention the brown strew chicken that was far from brown stew chicken it tasted like jerk chicken with loads of browning sauce to cover it up and the chicken was also very very very dry seems to me like your using the browning sauce you buy in the bottle 🙈🙈.i can honestly say i am very disappointed i will never spend another penny in this shop unless u change your standards of cooking this dont even deserve a 1 star
