The Albion in Hammersmith and Fulham

Went for lunch here, accidentally ordered a chicken burger rather than a veggie burger. Tried to correct it 30 seconds later (hadn’t even sat back down when the mistake was noticed) and the sour faced woman at the bar angrily refused, shouting at my friend from across the bar. When we inquired as to why, as the order had just been placed, she told us we could leave and eat elsewhere. Okay then. Clearly hospitality is not their thing here.*UPDATE* The woman decided she didn’t like this review and came out to swear at us, have a foul mouthed rant, and demand we leave. I have never been treated so poorly. This is shocking behaviour from someone in the service industry and this woman ought to be fired.*2nd UPDATE* As we were leaving, she felt the need to swear at us some more. This was an awful lot of cursing and unnecessary drama over asking to amend an order. Even if it wasn’t possible, saying so politely would have avoided this whole situation. Reading other reviews telling customers to leave seems to be a pattern at this establishment. Do yourself a favour and don’t bother going in the first place.

0/5Apparently asking people to leave the pub is their thing. My initial order was unavailable so I had to place a new order. Placed an order for a chicken burger instead of the veggie one. Realised my mistake and tried to change it within 20 seconds. The waitress shouted at me from across the bar saying she won’t do it and I was “too late.” My friend tried speaking to her and she shouted at her to get a refund and leave the place. (UPDATE) after writing this review, she came to our table and started swearing at us for giving her a one star review AND told us to leave the place AGAIN, while we were still at the table. Truly disappointed by the service at this place.

Food 2/5, hospitality 0/5, the woman at the bar was extremely rude to us when wanting to change the order of our food and she asked us to leave the place and eat somewhere else. She said she'll refund us instead of changing the order... Still waiting for the refund.

Great pub for a night out not to crowded

Great pub, full of character and friendly people behind the bar. The wrought iron spiral staircase is a lovely feature although the temptation to slide down the banister after a couple of ales maybe too much for some.

Food lovely but stars knocked off for the awful reception we received when entering the pub on Friday 11th March. The bar staff were very dismissive of our group entering the pub with 3 children (2 buggies) at 6pm. The lady basically asked us to leave until some very friendly patrons offered us their seats. We then had a nice pizza and drink.

Lovely pub, old style pub. Nice atmosphere. Friendly staff and overall a very good experience.

Lovely proper pub. Would have given five stars but I'm from outside London and 28 quid for 4 beers seems excessive to me.... If that's what you're used to its faultless

This is one of my favourite Pubs in London. The wine is hand picked by the owner, the beer is served perfectly and the staff and customers are friendly and welcoming.They have an open fire in the winter, it's dog friendly and the tables are perfect for a beer and a board game. They always have something new going on from open mic nights to festive celebrations.What more could you want?!

Decent pub, lots of little ornaments, big open fire and friendly staff which all provides a nice atmosphere. Beautiful, iron staircase.Decent beer selection, nothing out of the ordinary though, ok prices.Would come again.
