We googled best roast in North West and here we are truly enjoying the best roast beef and lamb!! Delicious brownie desert! A must try :)

A family member booked a table here at Christmas and unfortunately had to cancel the table once he tested positive. Despite us keeping the pub fully abreast, they insisted on keeping the deposit rather than allowing us to use it as a credit and encouraging us to rebook for January which we would have gladly done. Short sighted management and too much attention to £ without thinking of how customers feel or would gladly spend more to repay.

Disappointing lack of commercial nouse from this local pub.I reserved here and paid a deposit for lunch on Christmas day.Throughout the lead up it wasn't entirely clear whether they were actually going to be open because of the possibility of staff sickness and client cancellations. I stayed in touch with someone from the pub by Whatsapp to confirm my commitment to being there...Then one day before Christmas two members of my party tested positive so we had to cancel - and of course I let them know the minute I knew.Today I asked whether, under the circumstances they might refund our deposit and they sent this rather spine-less response:"Deposits are refundable up to 2 weeks prior to the date of the booking, as is the case with all deposits we take to secure large and key nights bookings throughout the year. These deposits allow us to cover our running costs in the unfortunate case of cancellations. We wish you all the best and hope to see you back when everyone tests negative.""See you back"?? No chance. They clearly have no sense of the lifetime value of a customer. For the sake of £60 they've lost a lifetime of custom, revenue and good-will.If I hadn't been in regular Whatsapp contact with their staff I might have understood...Daft bunch.

Great little neighborhood pub. Busy at times but not too much. Happy service with a simple smile and drinks are not to expensive either. Good decent. Overall a decent choice for a few hours to spend it in good company.

We had two Sunday roast, the chicken one and the lamb one. The chicken one was really good, but the lamb... completely outstanding. I will bring people here each time they want to try a Sunday roast! Service was really nice, always smiling, and the waitress could speak even Spanish!

This pub used to do the best roast in West London. They did a slow cooked lamb that was totally amazing. Unfortunately it seems to have changed hands and all the staff and kitchen staff are different.Had Sunday lunch here yesterday and it was totally underwhelming. The Lamb was like it came from Iceland and the Veggie roast was an unappealing lump of something yellow actually it looked like vomit.Wont be returning.

JUST ThE BEST SUNDAY ROAST!The Cheff's pallet is superb. The 12/20hr slow cooked lamb is very very Good and the pork roast with the sauce and cooked apple garnish! Wow(I'd say for a 5 star a better craft beer and IPA selection and a little more lighting to make it more atmospheric)

The food here was incredible! The lamb roast was the best Sunday roast I’ve had in London so far. The mixed berry crumble was great, but seemed to be more rhubarb than anything. It would have been 5 stars, but the service itself was pretty bad. It wasn’t very busy and it seemed like we were forgotten about. Had to go to the bar each time to ask to order the meals, desserts and ask for the check.

Lovely pub tucked away from the main roads. Walked in, friendly atmosphere, quite busy. Found it via Google reviews as was looking for a good Sunday roast as my usual place was shut. Starter was fresh like the prawns were literally caught not so long ago. Main course was amazing and so was the desert. I should get out of my comfort zone a little bit more and try more new places to eat as this one was top marks! Loved that it also is an animal friendly pub, there was a dog with some other customers that was pretty chill.
