Services was poor, staff are burned out and short handed. Food was cold. Ordered onion soup and burger, and both were stale, not edible. You can have drinks there but be sure to ask for fresh and hot food. This place is a trap for food. Have drinks only. They serve you leftover food so be on alert please!

Just had what I thought was lunch. Soup came cold and had to return. Then came the burger and it tasted stale and basically cold burger. Fries were served at room temperature too. Don’t waste your money there unless you are going for a beer or a drink. I really think chef must be underpaid or overworked ..

Excellent Sunday roast beef, huge crispy fluffy Yorkshire puddings and fab veg. Nice wine list at higher end of pricing. The food here is spectacular.

Went here for Sunday lunch and had the confit pork belly roast with all the trimmings. Also had a nice bloody Mary which was served just right with fresh horseradish. Superb food and good service considering how busy it was. As a local I can highly recommend this place.

Nice pub, but check your bill (this kills me to share because I like the pub but it is what it is...)So, I really like the Anglesea Arms and was excited to head back post pandemic but was surprised when my bill came and they snuck a double when I ordered a basic cocktail. Cheeky AF.We then noticed they added a service charge (totally fine) but then gave us a prompt to add another tip without mentioning the one they had already added. If you're having a few drinks and not running an accounting firm at the end of your session, you're going to wind up over paying. That seems to be their game at the moment, which is disappointing. At the end of the day, it's not about the extra few pounds, it's about the principal. We are there, giving you business, don't be sneaky and charge me a double (or give me one) when I don't ask for it. I love a buzz, but I didn't want that much alcohol at the end of a round of drinks. We also didn't want to wait 10+ minutes for drinks when it was nearly empty and be prompted to give two service charges. We didn't say anything and the guy was nice but I won't be going back to a favoured pub for a while because that's just a level of greedy we don't need right now. Thanks, but no thanks. Enjoy the space if you'd like, but check your bill.

Love this pub! Small, classy, good dining area with top notch food, log fire with comfy sofas, usually three or four real ales on the go too.

The most fantastic pub in London with the best food!!! Consistently good, friendly and with a good vibe. Jovanna is a fantastic lady who works there who is very accommodating. It’s not the cheapest of places but the food is just so good I’m happy to spend the money. I’ll be going back again and again!

A great place to dine, in an informal setting, a traditional English pub, with a friendly and enthusiastic crew on hand, delivering good quality roasts on a Sunday, up until 9pm. Also a little spot out front with a few tables to sit under the stars in summer. Check out the homemade horseradish with the roast beef.

A true gem! This was the second time we've visited this pub for Sunday lunch and it has been consistently excellent each time. The staff were warm and welcoming and the manager was an exceptional host. Combine that with very well kept beers a fantastic wine selection and faultless, seasonal, fresh and expertly prepared local food and you could not ask for a better Sunday lunch. Could not recommend this place more. Thank you to all the team, we will be back!...
