Underrated little pub, food was great and the rugby set up even better. If looking for a change from the mitre then great option.

Clearly I missed the fact that new management has taken over and what a turnaround this place has had!!! This was my second time there in a month and yes, the food is excellent. Proper quality Spanish tapas (croquetas yum) delicious main courses (the pork chop is amazing). The Chef absolutely cares about quality and taste and the service team care about good and genuine service. Already planning my next visit. 👍👍👍

So lucky to have places like this in London. I've been a few times and loved it. Great food (SPANISH FOOD & WINES :)) very friendly staff, really clean and beautiful decoration. One of the night It was life music, a great band. I highly recommend the Captain cook, try it if you didn't do already, loved it!!!

What an incredible place!!! The new management has turned this pub into one of the best in SW- such a change from previous management!! Their Spanish tapas is fresh, delicious and authentic. The staff are warm, welcoming and incredibly attentive. Service is quick, professional with high standards. It’s so refreshing to see the owner work side by side and bring such a positive energy to the pub. I think I found my new favourite spot!!!

Last Wednesday I was at the new Captain Cook, I had heard very good things about it and we decided to go and have some dinner.I loved it, the food is very good, and the attention from the staff is very good. Susi the owner is always attentive to everything, and I felt at home.If you go I recommend you try the croquettes, I've been to many Spanish restaurants in London and I've never tasted such good ones.I found the quality/price really good.I will definitely come back!!!!

I'm in love with this place!Since the new owner took over the atmosphere is great, the food is delicious with an amazing range of Spanish tapas and also fantastic traditional English food. You can either enjoy a paella on a Saturday or a roast on a Sunday! The staff is very friendly and warm and always ready to help.I'm so happy I've found this gem right round the corner that makes me feel like I'm at home for a few hours.

Absolutely delicious food!! Excellent quality, great atmosphere and very friendly staff. We started with some delicious tapas: mushroom & truffle croquetas (to die for), excepcional Spanish ham and very tasty anchovies with manchego cheese. We were pleasantly surprised with the black rice paella with seafood (so far the best I have tried in London). We are so pleased to have such a great pub in the neighbourhood. Will definitely be back.

Quite possibly the worst room I’ve ever stayed in - the photographs are not representative of the experience which is dated, dirty and dilapidated and came with the additional ‘extra’ of a cockroach in my glass by the bedside the next morning. The one star is for the staff as they were lovely - pub was ok, average food with a strong smell of grease but very lively. Horrible experience.

Great lunch spot here. The mains are very tasty, lots of effort put in. Chips are clearly triple cooked and probably the best chips I've ever had. Tapas and a drink deal is great and pub has a good selection of beers and great atmosphere.

A fantastic feel from the welcoming staff. While riding I stopped nearby and asked if I could use their toilets. When I came out they had a glass of cold water waiting for me at the bar, to cool and rehydrate myself. That is the sort of kindness and attentiveness that goes into making it look and feel as good as it does. A pleasure to recommend.
