Three cask beers are constantly on rotation at this well-appointed pub with a long river frontage.

Definitely a positive recommendation when the sun is out, the problem is the long queues at the bar. With one week out from a long weekend, we were able to book a large table for lunch. The food was ok but the major issue was the long wait for drinks. The bar was understaffed and those that were serving appear to only be able to pour out one drink at a time. The rating is generally for the pub, it’s good beer selection and location on the river

The look, feel and staff are lovely. The food was very disappointing. We ordered Cumberland Scotch Egg and it was raw - sent it back. Mains were crab burger (which burst with oil when I bit into it) and fish and chips (watery and flavourless). We ended up complaining but still expected to pay £81 for the experience. I’d avoid this place until they sort their food out.

Blonde lady at the bar was incredibly rude in the way she let us know we cannot eat here because we haven't made a booking. It was a spontaneous pop-in that we were quite looking forward to and have been left in no man's land with a sour taste. Thanks but no thanks.

Excellent service. Food was outstanding. portions were very generous. lovely atmosphere and loved the fact that they allow dogs. perfect for when you want a stroll by the river. Highly recommend this restaurant

Lovely pub along the river, great for drinks. Service was efficient but most of the food was average or below- The pheasant breast was dry and had the bone in- The polenta on the Braised lamb didn't state it was mash or that it had Olives in it. Very odd flavour anyway, it wasn't very nice- Padron Peppers were overcooked- Service was very quick and friendly, well done. Slight point, when we told you the food wasn't as listed there should be some response to that.I do take into account that its a challenging time at the moment, but the pub was empty so it felt to be more of an effort/ingredient thing rather than a busyness /covid thing

Tasty fish and chips and very generous amount for the price! Lovely ambience and beautiful decor.

I met up with a couple of work colleagues in Hammersmith (where our office is based), and we always reserve a table at the Old Ship. The fish and chips dinner is excellent - always my favourite, and the sticky toffee pudding was equally as tasty. Fantastically furbished, and a very nice setting along the River Thames, whatever the season. Very friendly and amiable staff as well.

Refreshing real ale and high quality lunch by the Thames in Hammersmith. The very best in seamless and genuine customer service. Drop anchor at The Old Ship for so worthwhile and fulfilling a sojourn that you will have to return, as I always do, and as you will learn.

Came here to watch the Euros final (thanks to Dave). Lovely conservatory, attentive staff and the food was good. Would definitely return on a less eventful night! Most importantly they do my favourite Cornish drink.

The staff is very humble and warm. The view from outside seating is beautiful! We had the chicken burger and fish and chips - and despite being quite packed the service was quick! Would Def recommend :)
