Nice friendly pub but run out of tea and coffee and it was cold so needed hot drinks it needs some refurbishment chairs are old and extra toilets

·

Strange pub - don't have many of the staple drinks. Would only come back if I had nowhere else to watch the games

·

Great pub....lovely food...especially the veggie burger which was probably one of the best Ive had....and Ive had a few!...real ale was well kept and from a smaller brewery (Chiltern when we visited). Well worth seeking out as its a little off the main tourist routes etc.

·

To be fair only popped in for a quick drink Seems a proper pub Will definitely be returning to sample the Sunday roast

·

Nice local pub, with very good food and drink. Non-alcoholic range very limited, prices similar to most gastropubs. Small, but not crowded, staff very nice.

·

Such a friendly place with great servers. We just hosted a celebration in the back patio and it was perfect. The timing (and taste) of the food, the attentiveness and friendliness of the wait staff, and the beautiful patio made for a perfect gathering. We are so thankful to have such a wonderful local place to go.

Absolute best local pub ever.I went through a dreadful thunderstorm, all soaked and seeking refudge. Despite a major crisis of flood and emergency services refuses to come to assist, the pub serve me a pint to keep me comfort. That's what we need more in our community!

·

Lovely beer garden, really friendly staff. They have lovely food and a good selection of drinks. Couldn't recommend highly enough, we're so glad it's our local.

We had such a fun evening at the Pear Tree celebrating a birthday. The beer garden is a hidden gem! Delicious food, really good house rosé and the staff are lovely — special shout out to Lucy and James for being so friendly (and the tequila...). We’ll be back soon!

This is one of my local pubs. My husband and I went a few times on our own. Drinks are fine but food wasn’t great. We made the mistake of taking out of town guests two separate times for traditional fish and chips and the others for Sunday roast. We felt it was important to give a place a few tries because one bad experience could be an off day but three bad meals? We haven’t been back.
