For me it’s not even a restaurant looks more like a place you can find in Africa . The cook was not welcoming at all no hello no thanks nothing .the white paper sheet on the table was dirty and not change between customers will never go back again

Fantastic authentic Somali food. Service is a bit iffy but the food more than makes up for. The breaded chicken with white sauce linguini is amazing. So is their lamb shank but you have to get there early as they always run out of this.

Decided to delete my old review as I have given this place a try again since then!Take outs and eating in has been good so far. Food is always tasty and portion sizes are generous. Also service might be a bit slow at start but they make sure to check up on you👍🏽

I’ve visited this restaurant and really enjoyed the atmosphere, food and the customer service was great! I would recommend their salmon pancake and soor & suqaar for a more light and healthy lunch.

Me and my friends had the option of going to Chinee or Somali. So what can I say? Let’s start of with customer service.. pure disrespect I received my meal before I even received my starter and not giving me the pasta dish I asked for. The staff also slammed Our drinks on the table. When it come to paying the pirate upstairs was showing us pure disrespect even though two of us in the group of four was from the same country. Last but not least thanks to apple for their find my iPhone service my friend left his phone behind we went back and the lady who served us said she doesn’t have the phone after she has already cleaned the table. We went out and came back in and pressured the staff until they handed over the phone. DONT GO TO THIS PLACE. 0/10. IF I HAD THE OPTION TO POST WITHOUT A STAR I WOULD.

Food was good, actually exceeded my expectations. Service was nice, the venue decor could improve though. Seating is in the basement not the most appealing, creates bit of dodgy atmosphere

This Somali restaurant is the best. They’ve got delicious tasting spaghetti with white sauce that tastes so good with a stake chicken on the side. The portion is big and keeps you full and if you cannot finish it you can take it home. The drinks are amazing especially the mango shake. I definitely recommend everyone to go to the village for a reasonable price on delicious Somali food and they’ve also got good service. 5*

For a Somali restaurant this place is on point. The dishes are all well presented and taste as good as they look. They have a range of traditional dishes with plenty of seating.I highly recommend the Suqaar, Salmon Pancake and Soor dishes.

This meal was the best meal I’ve had in this place , but to be fair it’s the only meal I’ve had their and never tried anything else. I’ve been a customer for almost 6 years, but when they tried convincing me that this chicken that was full of oil and partially burned on some place was actually made like that well, I guess that was it for me. I hope they get a better waiter and decorate the place with modern theme and some lights please.

Brilliant Somali cuisine. You can get tasty food for a reasonable price. Including starters, main and desert for about £15 but feels and tastes like should be worth double. The portions are great too and if you can't finish you can take the rest home. The food is made fresh with a window available to view the chef at work. Wide range of drinks too from fresh fruit cocktails to mango shakes. If you have not tried high class Somali cuisine before then this is a must.
