The food overall was very nice and we were pleased. What we didn’t like was that we were rushed to leave the place as it was closing at 3pm and we didn’t know that when we booked our table. The waitress came at 14:45 to ask if we wanted anything more as the kitchen was closing at 3pm (she didn’t mention that the restaurant was closing at 3pm…) so we said yes and we ordered more plates but after 5 minutes she came to say they were closing the restaurant at 3pm and we need to go and when i said but we ordered more food and what do you expect that we eat all of it in 10 minutes the waitress looked at me like thinking yes in 10 minutes you need to eat all of it. What a joke.Nice food but bad behaviour, no respect.

Great yakitori and beef tongue. Nice ebi tempura too

UPDATE: went again for lunch. Great value lunch sets. However yakitori chef had the day off - so make sure to call before you go if you want to order yakitori!Delicious yakitori, I would personally skip on the sushi. Service was slow even on a Wed night.Green tea ice cream was great. Would go again :)

Amazing food, great service.

A great place to enjoy authentic Japanese foods. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. I would highly recommend fantastic Skweres that are freshly grilled on order and pair with beers or Japanese Sake ( of course if you do not plan to drive ) 10 to15 minutes walking distance from Hammersmith station )The staffs are friendly and very efficient. However, you can tell they are struggling a bit and making some errors when getting too busy with only 2 waitresses running up and down the dining room.Overall experience and foods are great! Would be 5 stars if they have enough staff.

Walked past it for a few years, always suspicious of the somewhat extensive menu. Finally went there tonight and was hugely impressed by quality and consistency. We reordered the udon it was so good. Good food, great value = 5 stars

Great authentic Japanese place! You know it's good when you see older Japanese patrons. We had the Yakitori lunch special, which was simple but tasty. Service is attentive and friendly. Their menu is very extensive and I would definitely come back to try the rest of it!

I was there on a Friday evening and this place is busy solid and that’s a good sign! I made reservations for a bar seating and glad did that. You ain’t experiencing yakitori if you’re not at the bar. You need to experience the heat and a little bit of the smoke! The food wasn’t the best I’ve had but was pretty solid! I ordered a mix of grilled chicken, duck, pork, and even some non-grilled dishes such as cold raw starters and was pretty impressed! The food was well portioned and it worked for me. The service was quick for a super busy Friday evening.Prices are a little steeper than your usual Japanese joint but hey, yakitori isn’t cheap, even in Japan. Check them out when you’re in this part of London because I’m definitely going back for more.
