Really nice little Diner with good food at a great price. Great service, the lady running the shop went out of her way to make sure we were taken care off!

Best little old school cafe! Famous locally. All the breakfasts lunches etc good quality rapid service. Great coffee! Really great. Try the steak and kidney......one of life's pleasures.

Step back in time to this gem of a cafe which has been on Goldhawk Road for about 40+ years. I came here as a kid back in the late 80's on a hot Saturday afternoon. I swear the interior has not changed and still has that retro charm. The staff are very pleasant and attentive and the lady who was running the place was talking about selling up. Please don't sell this gem OK :)

Misleading menu, when the breakfast arrived it was mediocre, the bacon was basic, the sausage no bigger than my big toe and the toast was nothing more than dried bread, slightly warmed with butter. The biggest disappointment was the fried egg that was hard, where was the yolk?? The biggest yolk was this place!! It looked like it had been thrown in to a frying pan and no thought given to how it was being fried. The Cook was arrogant. Waste of money and waste of time. Give these jokers a wide berth!!!

Lovely lady served us. Very friendly. Large portions and good value for money. Love the old diner style.

Cozy with an atmosphere of warmth. The food is hearty, and the service is friendly - recommended if you ever want a nice diner to grab a bite to eat.

I came here and loved it, such low prices and amazing food. Had a milkshake and loved it so much that I had another one. I found out that it was the first place to to introduce the Thick Milkshake in Great Britain made of 100% Ice-Cream. You have a choice of 20 flavours! Amazing burgers and selection. Will come back for a curry or maybe a steak or maybe for a Hearty breakfast. I might even come back for the veggie options.

The Zippy Diner’s interior is very creative, it really gives it that 1960s sensation with it’s red and white seats and wall fixtures. I am giving this restaurant one star, firstly because of it’s cleanliness, the seats may look nice from the outside but when you walk in you’ll see that the leather on the seats are ripped and dusty, this is not just once this is always. Many times when I have ordered a cup of tea I see that the edge of the mug is grey or brown and not properly washed. Sometimes the tables are sticky with sugar and tea stains, I rarely see a person come and clean the tables.Secondly I give this restaurant a one star because of health and safety reasons, Downstairs is where the lavatories are and there is a serious damp problem on the ceiling, In the gents the entrance door hangs off it’s hinge and doesn’t close, also there is a massive hole in the ceiling due to the damp. All the electrical fittings are quite old including the lights which is not safe because alot of them have burned. The oil the use for the chips and meat is not fresh, the staff don’t wash mixers or the machines they use to make the milkshakes or juices, I saw bits of old dried food in my cup when I ordered from there. Lastly, the atmosphere, I find that Zippy is a social club for the elderly people and not suitable for all. I wouldn’t recommend that families go there with their young children because of the types of conversations the elderly have, they crack dirty jokes with each other for hours and because they don’t sit in a group to free up spaces for others who want to eat, also they don’t crack these dirty jokes discretely they talk quite loud. I can understand that they are old and this is where they come to congregate and build their community but the staff at this restaurant tell the young customers to leave when the elderly are making the jokes instead of telling the elderly to change the subject or keep the volume down.

Came from Japan. Thought everything in London are super expensive and foods are cheep crappy quality. But this place is not so expensive and serving volume full dish. I think good for breakfast.
