Seems harsh this place isn't rated closer to 5 stars in my opinion.There are some downsides, but the food is always excellent - They are undoubtably expert cake and bread makers, and the salads are never boring.The staff are always pleasant and calm even when it gets extremely busy.One major downside is the standard of coffee. Quite strange given the care they put into the food...

every time I come here the place is always 70% full, and filled with laughter. customers are mostly parents, or grandparents who talk loudly because they’re a bit deaf. the relaxed atmosphere is contagious. it’s a cafe that makes me less afraid of growing old.

Lovely atmosphere, delicious food, makes you look at salads in a different way once you’ve had one at Chriskitch. So tasty, flavoursome and filling… it is there to enjoy!

We had an amazing full English breakfast with some scrumptious salads and cakes last weekend. Food here is absolutely delicious and service very pleasant. Will definitely be back :)

Great little gem tucked away with amazing different foods but i suggest opening earlier on weekdays around 8:00-ish for the children of Fortismere to have a little spot to eat before school, would definitely increase sales

Great price for value, best food in north London also everything is 100% made from scratch! Including the bread!. Staff is very nice and the chef is very friendly and professional.

Amazing food, with many options to choose from!Beautiful little spot, quiet, a few minutes' walking distance away from Muswell Hill's center.Be it vegetarian, gluten-free, freshly prepared salads or a good old dish of breakfast eggs with all kinds of bread you're after (that's my kind of thing:D ), they've got it.The staff is friendly and welcoming, really make you feel like home.I recently went there with my fiancee, had a filling, prepared with love breakfast and a great aromatic tea to top that, and there is only one thing I have to say: I will try to be there every Sunday morning, we found our ideal breakfast spot we were looking for.

Delicious breakfasts and salads hidden away from the main Muswell Hill throng. Went for the set brunch and plate after plate of tasty goodies arrived, in the end it completely defeated us - were we were so full we had to ask for a doggy bag to bring our cake home!

ChrisKitch is my all time favourite for anything breakfast in Muswell Hill. They keep changing their menu but I have to say I love the change and variety. I'd wished they kept some of the favourites though and have to say portion size has decrease. Still the cakes and everything else are as always delish!
