Amazing birthday experience. I had a big birthday party here. It was a really great experience. From planning with Bianca, to meeting with Dimitris, to the final event with the wonderful Kosta and his colleagues on hand to help. It all went so smoothly. Nothing was too much trouble. They made us feel so welcome and reassured beforehand. The guests commented on the delicious food. We could not have wished for a better party. Thank you all so much!

Wonderful afternoon spent today at The Clissold Arms. We booked a private function room (The Shed) for a special surprise 60th birthday celebration for a loved one. They were accommodating throughout the booking process and service on the day was excellent- we felt well looked after. Food was on point and delicious. Two thumbs up, would recommend without hesitation! Thank you Clissold Arms for making a memorable occasion extra special.

Really good food. Staff were amazingly polite and courteous. I will definitely be going back there to dine in their garden when it's a little warmer, which looks quite beautiful even in the cold.

Young Women Beware!. This pub over the last year has become a regular spot for drinks spiking. Four young women we know have had their drinks spiked here in the courtyard. One on a Monday night, having a quiet drink with a friend. The young woman concerned had a drugs test the next day and spiking was confirmed. When the pub was informed, their response was not impressive. Avoid....

I really want to give 5 stars here but unfortunately I do not believe the menu fits the pub style. This was the pub that the infamous Kinks formed and has a whole room dedicated which is lovely but I feel this pub gasteotaker over has ruined its ambience. That being said, staff are great and Greek food is nice. Just not fitting for this pub

I went to a school reunion there. We hired a private room and were extremely well looked after. The buffet was superb! The bar area was comfortable and welcoming, and there is an outdoor covered area that was busy and convivial. The only negative was that there was no real ale on tap but frankly, it didn't detract from the overall experience.A great evening in an fantastic venue.

Visited the Clissold on Saturday with some friends after about a year since my last visit. The place has been renovated and took more of a greek cuisine route.Nevertheless, my experience has been amazing, the food was delicious (i can recommend the mixed chicken and lamb souvla), the staff was warm and friendly and the kinks room really is a gem! Will come back soon!

A visit, to see where The Kinks started, a great time to be brought up musically! Really enjoyed my visit, the staff put on a load of Kinks music for me, thank you. Beer was good, cold and hearty. The lads on the bar were lovely and so polite. The Kinks Room at the front is ideal for any pop pilgrimage. There is also a huge outside area an much foodie things to be done. A lovely place to visit. Also, it turns out Ray Davies lived over the road, wonderful.

cocktails not well measured, does not taste good but had to drink it as it was £8.50!! the price reflects central London pricing but the quality is not there. The service is ok. I don't know what happened to the outdoor area...now looks like a fast food place, no character, dated wooden furniture, looks so old and the poles dirty. It was better before with single umbrellas and the decor much more to our liking. The new look and feel downgrade the region.

Can describe how amazing this place is!I've booked a room for my wife's birthday (15 people, toddlers, dogs) and everything was just P E R F E C T!From being so kind and friendly, helpful considerate and patience, with all my question and requests, to make sure we have everything we need,The room was huge and so cool, decorated, comfortable, and just ideal for a 3-4 hours party, music was top!We had the Kinks room which was so cool, full of history and great design! The food was excellent! overall I couldn't imagine a more perfect event for my wife who was also so amazed, THANK YOU AGAIN!
