Food was good. The mrs had a salad that honestly looked amazing. My steak was a little tough but loved the peppercorn sauce and the service was great. Id go back but chose a different meal for sure

Terrible experience.I went to Muswell Hill Cote to spend nice time with my child rather than spend my time for cooking. The lady who took our orders came after 20 mins and told me said they forgot to tell to kitchen and our order will be there in a few minutes late. In total we have waited 45 mins. I was upset and lost my patient to wait.I wanted to speak with the manager, he ignores me . At the end they literally dismissed us rather than apologize.They weren't transparent enough and didn’t care and very rude.We left to eat somewhere else.

I keep meaning to review this Côte. As a chain I always like it as it's reliable and the menu is usually nice, although over the years there's been dishes I've loved that have disappeared. (Those spinach crepes!)But the Muswell Hill one really is the best in my opinion. Friends and I have been going there more over the pandemic times and stopped going to some other places.Not only is the food always good, the service is lovely, really nice staff without exception.But importantly, it's big and airy, a nice environment, it naturally meets the socially distanced feeling, and the staff all wear masks. It has felt like they've taken Covid seriously. Whereas some other local places in Mussy and Crouch End abandoned any measures as soon as they could.My only regret is when I order something other than the chocolate mousse for pudding.Also you might want to check your online booking system. We've found that it will say there's no tables and then when we contact you there is availability, it can make people think there's no point trying.

The food was excellent. However, we were allocated a table by the fire exit and there was a huge amount of cold air coming from around the door. I had to eat my meal wearing my thick winter coat and I was still cold.
