Crocodile Cafe in Haringey

A pleasant cafe at the back of a gift shop with three seating areas - both indoors and outdoors on the lower floor where the serving counter and kitchen are situated, and an indoors upstairs area with views over London that has an entrance from the rear of the shop. If you go in through the shop you have to go downstairs to order. The upstairs also has nice paintings on the wall and a local notice board for activities. Being in Muswell Hill, these include Qi Gong, theatre and pottery. This is a nice relaxed place to meet someone or have a coffee or some food.

the place is child-friendly and has a small pond with koi fish. The food is extremely overpriced and not tasty. I paid for 2 hot choc, 2 coffee, 1 avocado+halloumi burger with mixed leaves and chips £25 - my toddler at my top bun and I asked whether I can get another top bun, she said: "if you pay for it..."..after paying £25 - ridiculous!!

Love this cafe, a great place to take the kids, however we always used to stop by the front counter attached to the shop for really good hot doughnuts once a week as a treat after shopping, unfortunately the counter has been closed for some time now, the note in the window said it would only be closed for one week but I’ve been back twice recently and it seems as though it’s still closed so I had some quite disappointed young ones this week. Fabulous little venue but I really hope to see this counter back soon, it’s just what’s required after school or shopping in the cold.

Such a quaint little cafe! Love the cosy upstairs area in the winter and the spacious garden outdoor seating in the warmer months. The food is tasty and the staff are friendly and very welcoming. Good for those with kids and also for adults needing a quiet few hours away from home!

The team are great despite having to deal with a lot of entitled folk. Still though we'll run unlike Artsake cafe.The owner needs to put some funding in to the building though. The staff can only do so much

Kids friendly, super friendly and smily staff, great outdoor sitting, the food & coffee are unfortunately below the lowest standards, really basic, served poorly, but they’re super nice and kids love it.

Nice food but portions a little on the small side. No menus given out? You have to take a picture of menu at till or entrance to sit and look through once seated. Lovely tranquil atmosphere though, away from main road.

Such a cute little tucked away gem! Beautiful Koi fish pond, lovely big backyard patio even with some igloo style covered tables, and the coffee was great too! Can’t wait to come back for breakfast 😁

A real local gem! A great place to meet friends over a cafe meal, a coffee/tea and cake, or even just to chill out with a book.Tucked away at the back of Crocodile Antiques (really a gift shop with a better quality selection of gifts, trinkets and some very nice cards and collectibles), or down a passage between M&S and Starbucks. Would suggest a coffee here is money better spent then next door.Passageway is signposted by a silver pole with a mug on top, also on silver!Just popped in to pick up a lovely cold coffee on a hot day and the outdoor area was buzzing. Lovely little hidden gem in the heart of muswell hill.A really nice cafe with a very lovely menu that appeals to all ages.An absolutley fantastic destination for summer as they have a lovely outdoor area to sit and a nice play area for kids. During wither the indoor area is lovely for working other laptop.The coffee is really nice the portions are slightly small but is absolutely fantastic as a break for the usual highstreet coffee shops.
