Delightful specialist Fish restaurant with a local feel. Friendly and attentive service. Great food (the Bream was especially delicious).

First off the shop/diner was unkempt and smelt awful...I was served "Cod fillet and chips".. noticed that the chips looked like they were fried and kept for hours and then was now microwaved for me when I arrived.Because of the way it looked, I couldn't even eat.Overall poor dining experience. Eat there at your own peril

First time I've ordered and I think I discovered my new London fish and chip establishment. Fish was light and beautiful and the beer batter cloud encasing it fantastic! As we all know that consistency is the key, they've set the bar high so only time will tell. Imho it's the quality of fat fish and chip shops use, it has to be fresh, from there on in its plain sailing. Free fish soup with the order as well, great service!!!!

This is one of the best fish and chip restaurants I’ve come across. It’s cooked right in front of you, it’s crispy and absolutely delicious. I just can’t imagine why anyone would leave a negative review - ignore them. Believe me, it’s really, really good and reasonably priced too. Been coming here for a few years now and it’s just fantastic.

Got takeaway from this restaurant yesterday, my partner had the poached salmon, I had scampi and my dad had halibut. Sadly not impressed. The chips weren't crunchy and were more spongey around the outside, same for the scampi. Not much flavour to the scampi or the chips either. My dad's halibut seemed to go down 'fine'. My partner's salmon was a complete disappointment. £20 for two tiny pieces of salmon which weighed 160g, which comes out at £125 per kilogram of salmon. The salmon itself was tasteless and overcooked. Would not go here again.

Absolutely brilliant! The food is delicious, the service is one of the best I have ever experienced in London. They make you feel at home and comfortable. You can have a fried or healthy dish here also, whichever suits you best. Either is beautifully cooked and tastes extremely good. By far the best fish I have ever had. Definitely recommend!

Went here with a gourmet card. Everything on the menu is priced as "market price", so a fairly small haddock and chips was £12.95 before the discount. The fish was really good, chips not so much (reconstituted and out of a packet rather than freshly prepared). Not overly familiar with other places in the area, but this wouldn't be my first choice for another fish and chip supper.

Absolutely loved this place. The service is fantastic, very attentive and efficient. The food, is DELICIOUS! Coming from Australia, we have a big 'Fish & Chip' culture and so far haven't really found a decent place that is not over-priced in London, until now! We had the scallop & mussel soup, wheat-free fried calamari rings and grilled prawns - all were amazing. Mains: GIANT fried cod fillet and grilled sea bass, really impressive fresh fish and both cooked incredibly well.
